The only place we stay when in the area! Kathleen has created the most perfect stay. It has all the things you could need - and everything you could want too. She has hosting down to an art and you will not be disappointed staying here!

Our grand tour of the Canadian Rockies ended with a delightful week here at Carriage House Farm, and it provided everything - and more - than we could have hoped for. Excellently well-equipped with everything thought of, and very comfortable indeed, the house was just what we needed for a quiet, relaxing stay. Yet being well placed for driving into Vancouver (and to get to the ferry to Victoria), but close to the excellent food & drink offerings in Fort Langley, it was an excellent base for seeing the region. Kathleen really was a great host and had thought of everything - thank you!

We don’t even know where to begin praising this amazing property and overall experience. Kathleen is a fantastic host and the guest house had everything we needed and more. The surrounding property was a dream with 2 horses and a sweet German Shepherd named Duke and one of the highlights was sitting on the back patio with our coffee in the morning. If you are looking to get away from the city and have some peace and quiet, this is the place!

Peaceful escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s Carriage House property. The location was perfect for us as it is quiet, within walking distance to restaurants shopping and the museum. The cottage is cosy clean and well equipped. J&M

Amazing property

Hidden gem!

Quiet, beautiful, clean and convenient. The fully stocked kitchen was perfect for making meals, and had all the supplies needed. The bed was comfy, shower was hot and had lots of pressure. It was a fantastic stay!

Serenity and comfort in beautiful Fort Langley

Cannot recommend this property enough. Kathleen was a remarkable host! The site had everything we needed and was so peaceful. Lovely amenities and surroundings. Close to downtown and the Saturday Farmers Market. We would definitely stay here again :)

Our stay was amazing! Thank you Kathleen for sharing your slice of paradise. The property was secluded and beautiful. Just walking the property in the morning was one of our favorite activities. We absolutely loved Duke, he helped us miss our fur baby less! We hope to visit again soon.

Peaceful and spotless

We stayed 4 days and had a relaxing stay. The house is spotless clean, very private and peaceful. It is a few minutes drive to restaurants, ice cream and gelato, shops and antique store. The blueberry farm makes a nice view to wake up to.

Lovely, quiet, blissful stay

Very well appointed, thoughtfully done. Kathleen has a gem that is super comfortable, impressively clean, and quiet. Walking distance 25 minutes to Fort Langley or stroll the lovely grounds. Anything you need is at your finger tips for a very enjoyable stay.

Just a gem. Quiet, secure, and beautiful. Although tricky to find, there’s a radar speed detector sign directly across the road from the driveway entrance.

Best Rental We’ve Stayed At!

Wow! Kathleen’s cottage is a dreamy retreat. It is even better than the pictures, immaculately clean, well stocked and every need has been thought of. The bed is extremely comfortable, the property is in a beautiful area, close to convenient stores and eateries but tucked away so that it feels like you are the only ones around. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful get-away where you feel loved and taken care of, you won’t find better than this lovely cottage! We were spoiled to stay here!

Delight in BC

Kathleen's home and property are SO wonderful. Such a relaxing, clean and quiet place to stay, the Suite has everything a couple needs for a delightful time in British Columbia. Everything We Needed and More

We needed a place to stay, post-op, for a few days before travelling home. This location was heaven sent. An answer to my prayers for a quiet, private, peaceful place to recover. So many things we needed - like ginger tea and cookies on arrival ❤️ - and did not anticipate were either available in the unit or very close by. Kathleen, thank you, you have our deepest gratitude. Best vrbo hands down in fort Langley and amazing host. Loved the chats and getting to know them. Enjoyed it immensely. Super comfy private carriage house. Clean w fully stocked kitchen. Was such a nice treat to walk around her property and see her horses and blueberry bushes that sprawl over 20 acres. Simply amazing beautiful property! Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay

From the moment I first contact the host, her quick reply and accurate assessment of her location vs the location of a relative I was coming to check on was a blessing. She accommodated me in every way possible and I would not hesitate to select this host or property again in the future. My only hope is that it’s not booked for my next unexpected trip to Vancouver. second visit and loved it

This was our second visit to the Carriage House Farm, we have stayed in other rentals in Fort Langley, and this is definitely our first choice. The separate building on the property provides quiet and privacy, the completely above ground suite has the best landscape scenery, the view of the overall property is beautiful, enjoyable even with the unexpected snow cover. The suite has the best kitchen we've stayed in for cooking and baking, the best welcoming snacks on our arrival, the living room is bright and sunny, well suited for reading in the afternoon, or watching the screen in the evening, the WIFI is strong for both personal and business connections, and of course our host Kathleen is always available by text and in person for advice and assistance. Highly recommend.

Kathleen provided a comfortable and well-appointed unit with lots of nice touches. It was very peaceful and quite pleasant to be surrounded by her fields and blueberry farm. So close to Fort Langley’s centre (easy walking distance) but you’d never know it was there.

Suburban Stay

A much-loved and cared-for huge property with space, farm, and horses. While a thirty minutes drive from downtown Vancouver, this stay opened our eyes to nearby Fort Langley and riverfront parks, both rewarding.
