Great neighborhood. Walking distance to lots of stuff including the rail system. Front desk staff was extremely helpful with a problem I created by accidentally booking the wrong date. Old property but well-maintained, with character, and clean. Two one-at-a-time hall bathrooms per floor could have created a wait issue but did not, presumably because many of the rooms have en suite baths? Good bar/restaurant next door and the one across the street must be something special because people were lining up on the sidewalk before it opened for breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place for the price. Only complaint was the strong smell of cleaner coming from the bathroom in the hall way but it wasn’t bad enough to make the stay uncomfortable. Very friendly staff and over all great experience.

This quaint historic building was built in 1910 and the architecture shows it. Wonderful crown moulding. If you like older places with character this place is for you. It even has a sauna. There are lovely little nooks to sit and read a book and enjoy the hotel. Rooms are small but perfect for sleeping and doing stuff during the day. It is right downtown so everything is within walking distance from the hotel. Robson is right on the corner and has amazing shopping. We went over for a concert at Rogers Arena. It was the perfect choice. 10 min walk to and from. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. We will be back again. Thank you, Kingston for a wonderful time and experience.

overall I was pleased however there is a window above the doorway to the room letting lots of light from the hallway at night. I suggest the window be blacked out, as it seems to serve no useful purpose. Additionally, due to its nature being in central city, on a warm summer's day when you'd want to have the window open, would be a challenge for light sleepers.
