"Nice location in the vineyard in the top of the hill. Great view to Lipari Islands. But terrible road to property and bad sound isolation between rooms. Our neighbor family with two child's laugh talking until midnight and then we heard baby crying until 2h. Excellent breakfast with real red orange "spremuta"."

"My wife and I stayed here in November 2025 along with another couple. As is noted in other reviews, the pictures don't do the villa justice and it is exactly as advertised. The road in and out (last few miles) is a bit difficult to traverse and renting a 4 wheel drive as suggested by the host is a very good idea. Other than that, the place is absolutely fantastic, including the location generally for touring around Sicily (in particular Palermo, Cefalu and surrounding areas). The villa is exceptional and fully stocked with everything required. Beyond that, the hosts (Paul and David) go above and beyond in every way, including facilitating everything you need for arrival, ensuring your every need is met and providing great recommendations for tour spots, wineries and restaurants (even making reservations). They are both amazing people and joined us a number of evenings for some wine around the outdoor fireplace. They also have a local chef they recommend for in-house dining - chef Bruno and his partner Giovanni and they are absolutely wonderful and the price is extremely reasonable (less than comparable meal at a restaurant) Probably the best meals we had in Italy were with them and we had them cook more than 4 evenings (would have been more but we did tour around a fair amount). Bruno also hosted a cooking class for us and it was brilliant. If you stay here having chef Bruno cook is an absolute must. Overall we can't rate the villa or Paul and David high enough. "

"The drinking glasses were dirty most of the time. That was disappointing. The staff were lovely and pleasant. Dinner timings and options were limited. We were signature level and would have expected options for sea view, but those seemed to only be for the main building Food was okay. "

"There are a lot of really excellent aspects of this property. The bedrooms and washrooms are great and there are 6. Plenty for a large group of friends or family. The pool is great, nice patio, good sunshine and clean. It is easy to find the place and easy drive to Cefalu or to get anywhere in Sicily. There are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance. The outdoor dining areas are great. Things that could be better: there is no large room to sit inside other than the kitchen. We used the outdoor area next to the kitchen which was fine except when it rained hard. The beach is a good long walking distance away, if you are into that and the you had to drive to get groceries or a cafe etc. overall we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it if you are there to go to the beach or want to use it as a place to explore Sicily. "

"Poor choice by us booked 14days left after 6 days .. beach like a builders yard .. only one Resturant for dinner buffet average quality and limited choice poor wine selection staff don’t want be there .. no restaurants near hotel all 30+ mins away and poor quality.. nice pool .. bar ran like a 1980’s place poor choice of wine no draught beer limited bottles.. breakfast same everyday limited fresh fruit mainly tinned stuff couldn’t stay in this time warp .foe 14 days . room supposed to be garden view mainly a bunch of pebbles and a row of scruffy trees … we had to leave "
