"My wife and I stayed here in November 2025 along with another couple. As is noted in other reviews, the pictures don't do the villa justice and it is exactly as advertised. The road in and out (last few miles) is a bit difficult to traverse and renting a 4 wheel drive as suggested by the host is a very good idea. Other than that, the place is absolutely fantastic, including the location generally for touring around Sicily (in particular Palermo, Cefalu and surrounding areas). The villa is exceptional and fully stocked with everything required. Beyond that, the hosts (Paul and David) go above and beyond in every way, including facilitating everything you need for arrival, ensuring your every need is met and providing great recommendations for tour spots, wineries and restaurants (even making reservations). They are both amazing people and joined us a number of evenings for some wine around the outdoor fireplace. They also have a local chef they recommend for in-house dining - chef Bruno and his partner Giovanni and they are absolutely wonderful and the price is extremely reasonable (less than comparable meal at a restaurant) Probably the best meals we had in Italy were with them and we had them cook more than 4 evenings (would have been more but we did tour around a fair amount). Bruno also hosted a cooking class for us and it was brilliant. If you stay here having chef Bruno cook is an absolute must. Overall we can't rate the villa or Paul and David high enough. "

"A lovely hotel with pool and spa. Modern large room with private deck. Calm environment and very quiet. Wonderful spa services. Great buffet breakfast. A good place to stay to relax, 20 min away from the busy Cefalu area."

The property itself was stunning—beautifully maintained, spacious, and surrounded by breathtaking views that made our stay feel truly special.What truly set our time apart was the warmth and care of our hosts Benedetto, Chef Marco and Maria Concetta Moreci. They went above and beyond to organise not only a gorgeous wedding venue and a delicious dinner, but also wonderful entertainment with live singing and a lively disco to round off the evening. The atmosphere was perfect—joyful, relaxed, and unforgettable.Our whole group felt so well looked after, and we could not have asked for a more perfect setting or more thoughtful hosts. "We would rate this hotel almost excellent, our room was very comfortable and serviced twice a day. The grounds and pool are beautiful, effort towards sustainability is evident. Service was sometimes slow and our drinks orders were incorrect a couple of times but no big deal. We booked a couple of ‘experiences’ the wine tasting was cancelled an hour before start time. The romantic meal was a bit disappointing in our opinion, the space and views were gorgeous but the location meant the food arrived cold, and long gaps between courses. The aperitif in the field was excellent, the views are stunning, could have done with something other than bread and nuts to eat, maybe add cheese and meats?! Overall we loved the resort, staff were friendly and ideal for a couple wanting to spend a few days in a secluded location. "

"The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The buildings are quite old, and the location is far from other facilities. It feels more like a small family resort, with not much to do if you’re a younger traveler looking for activities"
