「The property is an historic hotel. The lobby area is beautiful, old fashioned architecture. We did find the parking lot crowded, and the street level check in area was not clearly marked.」
「This is our first time staying at a Hampton Inn or Hilton hotel and we were surprised at how nice hotel was. Melissa, checked us in at the front desk and the super cheerful and helpful. Our room was nice and clean and was surprised by the walk-in shower! Breakfast had lots of options and even some healthy versions. We have family in Galena but will definitely stay here again」
「Hotel is undergoing a complete remodel. The room was like new. Very clean and comfortable. Lobby area has been remodeled and nice. When they are done it will be a nice hotel.」

「Check in was easy. Staff very helpful. Very old building with alot of charm. Can walk entire downtown area. No frills. Bar/lounge felt like a Frank Sinatra hangout. Fun karaoke.

Staff is available on an as needed basis but otherwise you are left to enjoy this beautiful place on your own.」
「My teen daughters and I like to visit Dubuque a couple times of year for the change of scenery from the quad cities. We started back when they loved the waterpark- now we just go To shop and enjoy a meal. This inn provides everything we need including a small indoor pool to entertain us and keep us overnight. 」
