"We had a very pleasant stay - one night after a late flight into DUS. The room was ready with a cotbed set up as requested, and even a little surprise for our child. The room was quiet (given it's right next to the runway) and the hotel was very clean and functional. Breakfast had a nice selection, and we also used the pool, which is on the first floor and has a lot of natural light. "

Our reception on check-in was pretty abrupt and cool, and we think the receptionist was having a bad day. "Nice bed, and well equipped modern room - found it a bit odd that the bathroom was right in the room - but wasn’t an issue as I travelled solo. Hotel was quiet but check in was easy, and a problem with my room key was quickly resolved. Only thing I would say is that there was no sign for what to do in the restaurant - I didn’t realise (as an Englishman) that you just sat down, and the waiters didn’t acknowledge me while I was standing at the door. "

"Very clean, nice amenities, lots of farms with horses around if you like that, the service was fine. Everything would have been fine... except for several attempts in the morning to give me a "breakfast", without telling me clearly that it wasn't included, and without telling me it would cost me 14 euros for some eggs, ham and toast - quite an outrageous price. I was very disappointed to find a 3-star hotel engaging in this kind of thing."
