This was my first visit to Tybee Island and I was not disappointed. This house has anything that you will need for a relaxing stay, including a private pool, lots of outdoor space and wet spacious accommodations. The views are incredible and it’s only a short walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything You Need at a Great Location on Tybee Island

We enjoyed a lovely two week stay at this property in August. The house itself is very well outfitted and had the amenities we needed to accommodate our multi-generational guests. The weather was quite hot during our stay and the air conditioning kept us all cool and comfortable. It is so rare to find a swimming pool that has shaded areas at different times of day. Our toddler grandson *loved* that there was a large area of shallow water for him to splash in and fill buckets. Southern Belle made sure that the property was ready for us when we arrived - pre-cooled, TVs turned on, lights on and good communication about how to access the house and use the equipment. Would definitely recommend.

Great place!

We loved this property. It is the second floor of a three-story house, with the third floor being occupied by the owner. However, we had everything we needed for our vacation. The house is beautiful, the pool was a joy to have on the property. The house was very clean and basic supplies were provided. We did not get as much time on the beach as we had hoped, given that the weather didn't cooperate. Beach access was fairly straightforward, however. One note: the check-in email implies that the pool is not accessible unless you text the management company each day, this is not the case for this property. You can access the pool directly, though you will have to do it by going outside (there's no direct access from inside the house on the second floor). We did have one night where the smoke alarms was started beeping, but the management company was responsive and there were no further problems. As with all beach houses, the Wi-Fi is pretty lousy, good enough to stream a movie or check your email, but not great beyond that. Overall, we had such a great experience with this home that we would definitely consider coming back here!

Nice space but not worth the price..

Overall this property was good but not worth the price tag. A couple hundred yards from the beach, very clean space, and a short walk from all the attractions on the island. My group agreed the space was very nice. But we also all agreed we felt somewhat unwelcome in the space. The listing does not communicate that you have only the 2nd floor of the property and the owner of the property lives right above you. Nice guy (you will see him a few times) but this needs to be in the listing. The garage unit you are allowed to use is filled with beach gear that you are not allowed to use. The firewood in the garage was not usable for guests so make sure to bring your own wood if you want to use the firepit. The pool was clean but also very cold due to the heater being out.. and the room overlooking the pool was not usable but we saw movement inside it which made us somewhat uncomfortable. Thankfully we spent most of our time on the beach and this space was great to unwind in. I don't think we'd stay here again but it was a fun experience for a long weekend.

Excellent property

We found this house to be extremely clean and very well stocked with all necessities. Location was ideal with a short walk to the beach and excellent views of the sunrises. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all good sized. We were a group of four couples and would definitely recommend this property. .

Great location, just as described.

My husband and I, along with three additional couples stayed at the property for 10 days. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. Pool was clean and perfect! The bedrooms were all very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. No beach towels are provided so bring your own. We had one member in our party that had been involved in a bicycle accident and was in a wheelchair and this property worked just fine. The elevator was extremely helpful. The beach is just a short walk over the dunes. Many times we easily walked to town for dinner, shopping, and drinks. The smallest complaint was that the property manager leaves one small sponge and kitchen towel. Not enough for 10 days. The owner is aware and has bought more but the cleaning staff continues to leave just one. I also responded to a text from the property manager asking if everything was OK. We had questions regarding garbage and recycling as the directions are not clear. They never responded. We figured out you have to bring recycling to a recycling center and the garbage cans can stay exactly where they are. You don’t have to bring them to the street.

Beautiful Modern Condo

Beautiful, well done modern design. We were looking for a private beach house and missed the detail of this being a 2nd floor only CONDO with owners suite on 3rd floor. You will have access to 1 of the 3 garages and no access to rooftop viewing deck Nice Bose surround sound in condo, however guests do NOT have access, so bring a speaker with you. AC thermostat is programmed not to go below 70 and struggled to keep the home cool. Great location and walking distance to everything you might need.

Perfect beachfront property

We had high expectations for this property and it even exceeded those expectations. Everything worked great; very clean; comfortable beds; well-equipped kitchen; great showers; perfect table for playing board games (3 generations, 9 people); nice refreshing pool; convenient grocery store; easy walk through the dunes to beach; ocean view; many restaurants within blocks; owner has top floor but it is completely separate and not a problem at all. Used Burkes Rentals for beach chairs and umbrellas; they set up for you right on beach in area closest to house; great service. There were beach chairs in the garage too and other beach toys that we used at night when watching 4th of July fireworks on beach. Wonderful beach town. Would book this rental again.

Great, Clean Beach Front Property….but NOT private

After months of planning we were very excited to arrive at this beautiful multi-story home with viewing deck for spring break. The property is in a great location with many restaurants and shopping within short walking distance. The home was clean and immaculate upon arrival. However, this property is not private. Unbeknownst to us, this is actually a condo. From the listing and pictures we were not aware we only had access to the second level. The owners live upstairs. You do not have access to the ground level at the pool (which was a little inconvenient with little ones.) No access to the viewing deck at all. After months of anticipating our stay it was very disappointing that maintenance work was done during our stay. It was very uncomfortable to sit poolside while construction workers hammered above you. They also had their skill saw set up by the pool which was also very dangerous with children. At one point the workers dropped a huge piece of trim down from the third level missing us by inches. We finally packed up the kids and went inside. The management group offered to move us, but it was the last day of our stay. The owner is very involved and told us we could leave if we didn’t like the noise. This was super disturbing as we felt we paid a good premium for his property. If I had known the common areas were shared, owners were there coming in and out and maintenance was scheduled during our stay, I would have not booked. (Although during our stay I went back and read the listing and could not find any fine print with any of this information.).

Great stay!

It was our first trip to Tybee Island and everyone had a great time. The adults loved the local taverns and restaurants. The teens had fun at beach and parks. House was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the private heated pool.

Fall Break Getaway

Adult Family Vacation

My family of 8 really enjoyed our stay at 2 13th Place. Although the pool and living space seemed smaller than the pictures, we were pleasantly surprised by the whole space. The pool was perfect, plenty of sun and shade. We sat on the back porch for hours and hours. The beach was a short walk. The kitchen had everything we needed ( but dish towels- there was only 1). The bedrooms were large and so clean. We would definitely stay there again! Highly suggest especially for adults vacationing together!

Beautiful Location

Overall great experience! Located right on the beach, so you don't have to worry about a parking hassle. Also extremely clean and has everything you'll forget to bring!
