"Amazing place, they cleaned the room daily which was unexpected. Stacy (not sure of spelling) at front desk was delightful. There are lemon water and cookies each afternoon in the lobby. The coffee was tasty. I did not eat breakfast but people did seem to be enjoying it. I would definitely stay again."

"Its a little hard to find and either the walls are thin or my neighbors were very loud. Overall it was a very nice place with a great breakfast."

"We were in town helping to move our son from Michigan to North Carolina. The house served as our home base perfectly! Very clean and nicely remodeled! The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly! We will be visiting our son often and we will surely be staying again!"

"There was no hot tub, no spices, and the only coffee maker was a keurig with no provided pods for our first morning. (We bought regular ground coffee and no spices before due to the listing)There were multiple cockroaches, mouse poop in multiple locations (including on the coffee table and in some coffee mugs), and a mouse ate some of our packaged food left on the counter.Throughout the entire stay (after giving us the access code the day of), the host was completely unreachable, which was very inconvenient considering they never provided the WiFi password and I had to scour the house for the router.As long as you are not looking for a hot tub like we were, and bring your own spices and keurig pods, the house and location were not awful."

"This older renovated cottage had some definite pluses. I really wanted to give this place a good review because it is evident a lot of work went into renovating this older home. Efforts were made to make this place welcoming, like its simple decorating style. It is conveniently located in town. Overall, the place appeared clean, but housekeeping definitely missed some spots. The bathtub was the worst, with gross stains around the drain and bathmat. The kitchen was mostly ok, was adequately stocked with equipment, but the stove has old baked on rings around the burners and the warming drawer is coming off the tracks. My husband felt the stove should be replaced. The tv remote needed batteries. Two main issues were simply unacceptable. No hot water to the shower (the rest of the house faucets were fine, so seemed to be just a shower issue). The shower water barely registered luke warm. We did not enjoy this! The other issue was the heating was inadequate and barely registered 68. Heating system seemed to correlate with the outside temps. It was pretty cold the first night, but the next couple days was warmer and the heating system seemed to keep up better. Communication with management was very good and they were very responsive. It was Christmas however, so no one came out, but we were assured they would take care of the issues. With a little attention, this could be a very nice place to stay. "
