Cottage #8 - Spectacular views of Cape Cod Bay on a private association beach!

Imagine yourself vacationing with all of Cape Cod Bay visible from your beach cottage deck. Envision staying high on a 70 foot dune in a historic 125 year old cottage immortalized by American artist Edward Hopper. Step down the sandy dune to a private beach for a day of fun splashing in the waves or looking for washed in ocean treasures. Then look forward to spectacular sunset vistas and an evening of star gazing with friends and family.

Corn Hill Cottage #8 is well situated for fabulous family beach vacations. The cottage's first floor kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, coffee pot, and just about anything an amateur chef would need to pull together a wonderful seafood feast with family and friends. Celebrate this meal in the dining room complete with seating for 8. The downstairs living room is cozy and artfully decorated with treasures found on beach combing walks. There is a small library and games to play to help you unplug. For those who can't disconnect, a Smart TV and wireless internet is available. The cottage's front porch is a perfect place to enjoy the first sips of coffee hoping to glimpse the occasional passing whale. The second floor bay bedroom has a queen sized bed and overlooks Cape Cod Bay. Let the sound of the waves carried up on ocean breezes lull you to sleep. There is an additional upstairs bedroom perfect for children and capable of sleeping 3 on two twin beds and a trundle.

The cottage is within a short drive of many restaurants, art galleries, shops, National Seashore beaches, theater, miniature golf, and other entertainment and activity options.

Our family of five had a great time in this cute cottage. The location was great -- beautiful spot on the beach. We wish we could have spent more time here and definitely would recommend it.

We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage! It was so clean, homey, and welcoming, and we loved the view from the back porch as well as the walk down the stairs to the private beach. We spent most of our time going to ocean sides beaches, but loved coming home to this peaceful place.

This cottage is amazing... start with the fact that you are actually staying in a cottage made famous by Edward Hopper's painting, add the amazing view, private beach, and incredible sense of community, and you have a winning combination.

We stayed here for a long weekend with our baby and 4 year old. The location overlooking the bay side on the Cape is amazing and the private beach below (down a long staircase) is gorgeous! The house is very comfy and the home is really lovely and very nicely decorated. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

This characterful cottage is quintessentially Cape Cod--ideal for a small family, couple, or few friends. It's on a private, immaculate beach that's perfect for littler kids. The beach is just a quick walk down the dune, but note that going back up the steps would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.

Love the quaint rustic cottage, the decks, and the panoramic view of Cape Cod Bay. The private beach is a climb but really sweet. Small but very well-equipped kitchen. Walls and doors are old and thin so not much privacy for two couples but that was offset by the location, view, ocean breeze.

This was our second year staying at Brice & Michelle's gorgeous little beach cottage and it has well and truly stolen all our hearts. It is such a special place; the views, the air, the community, the beach, and of course the cottage itself... complete perfection in it's quirky, rustic beauty. We will be back every summer, as long as they'll keep having us!! Thank you SO much for sharing your happy place with us :)

This is a beautiful cottage in an incredible location. When I was growing up, my family would spend a few weeks on the Cape every summer in Wellfleet or Truro. This is definitely one of the best locations I’ve seen. The views are amazing and the sunsets every night are an event of their own. The cottage itself is well maintained, obviously loved, and has a nice sort of Herman Melville aesthetic. We had a great time and would highly recommend.

Comfortable and well appointed cottage. We had a dinner party for 8 and there was room for all. Very well equipped kitchen from coffee cups and dinnerware to wine glasses and serving dishes. It felt more like staying at the home of a neat and tidy friend than a beach rental. Beach vacation at its best.

Beautiful setting, cottage is well-equipped and clean as a whistle! Our weather for the weekend was not ideal, however, we had a wonderful time,. We are all talking about going back for a full week! The beach is beautiful and the view from the cottage is remarkable! The property owners Brice & Michelle were wonderful to deal with as well. We highly recommend Corn Hill Cottage #8!

Just enjoyed a wonderful week at Corn Hill in this lovely historic cottage. If you are looking to unwind in a true Cape Cod setting, this is it. Amazing views, access to a private beach and located close to kayaking and hiking in the CCNS - you won’t run out of things to do. Cottage is wonderfully stocked and clean. We truly appreciated all the safety measures due to COVID-19 and were so happy to see EVERYONE wearing masks in town. Highly recommend.

This cottage has everything! First, it is one of the most beautiful places I have been to, inside and out; the cottage is immaculate, beautifully designed and decorated. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with everything you'll need. But the true magic here is the view and private beach. This was out first cape cod vacation but it will not be our last and we plan to return here again.

We loved staying at this lovely little home. The view is spectacular...the afternoon winds from the water cooled the rooms and created a nice sleeping environment. The kitchen is well appointed and easy to use. Some spices and salt & pepper provided. The bathroom is tiny but shower is good; plenty of hooks for drying towels (outside lines for hanging bathing suits and beach towels). Beach is lovely and it's fun to walk to the sandbar at low tide (crabs!) . Beautiful sunsets! Local information provided in the cottage -- we used the pamphlets and guides to choose fun local activities.

My 27 year old daughter and I spent a long late September weekend in this sweet cottage and it was bliss. We sat on the porch, with a glass of wine, and watched the sun go down each night over the bay; waded way out at low tide; swam (cold!) when the tide rolled back in. It was cozy inside; perfect for two. And we made excellent dinners in the well-equipped kitchen. We fully intend to return next year!

This is an amazing home that perfectly blends the quaintness of old Cape Cod with absolutely breathtaking views. My wife and I chose this property to have our elopement because of the beautiful waterfront, but it is even more incredible in person. The home itself is very comfortable and has everything you need to have a relaxing vacation on the Cape. Brice and Michelle are as good a host as I have ever had at a rental property and even better people. They made sure we had a everything we need to create memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. I highly recommend this home and can’t wait to return again soon!

After not traveling for the past 2 years, we decided it was time for a much needed vacay. When I first saw the listing for this darling cottage, I knew that this was exactly what we needed. Cottage #8 is the perfect escape, located on a cliff, overlooking the bay. It was quiet, it was peaceful, the views were stunning, and the cottage itself was absolutely lovely! The kitchen is loaded with anything and everything that would be needed to prepare your meals. The living room was cozy for family conversations and laughs. This was our first time visiting the cape, and we loved it! We hope to go back in the near future.

We stayed in this same cottage once before under a previous owner. It was lovely then and lovely now, with some nice updates. The small, well equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. Moreover, the location is stunning, overlooking the bay and sunsets, a quick drive to good food, a steep staircase down to the beach. We didn't even bother with a Truro beach parking sticker this time. Number 8 is part of a historic set of cottages. They are close together, so you have to be comfortable with the sounds of kids playing and neighbors talking. The grills and sunset viewing platform are shared. Both times we stayed, all the neighbors were friendly, respectful, and interesting. We hope to come back!

This cottage (and its community) is nothing short of magic… we’re so fortunate to have discovered this gem. Its location on the cape is second to none in terms of views, the beach, and its proximity to the nearby towns. The cottage is the definition of rustic - so if that’s not your thing, then this place is not for you. But - if you understand and appreciate the pure beauty of such a rustic cottage experience, in such a historic and beautiful location - well then this place is a true and rare find. It feels like this little community of cottages is hidden away from the world, suspended in time from long ago. Our neighbors were amazing and wonderful connections / friendships were made. My children ran about freely, giggling, playing in the sand, making friends, playing games…. Adults sat on porches, grilled dinners, chatted on the viewing deck at sunset, shared food… stories, memories. The ocean breeze was the BEST, and the sunsets were breathtaking. We cannot wait to return next year, and truly hope to do so yearly. We’re so, so thankful to have discovered this slice of heaven on Cape Cod.

The cottage is what I would call the quintessential vintage Cape Cod, with modern conveniences, beautiful views, great beach and friendly neighbors. The only challenge is the stairs.
