「Het hotel doet wat gedateerd aan, maar dat geeft juist de lokale charme die je in het dorp verwacht. Personeel is heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Locatie is ideaal, aan de overkant zit de beste whale watch tour (Dervola) van het eiland met lokale vriendelijkheid en prachtige tours). Prima bedden in de kamer en prima badkamer. Eten in het restaurant is heerlijk.」

Wel een afgelegen locatie, in het laagseizoen is het restaurant dicht en zijn er geen andere restaurants openin de buurt. Dus vooraf even informeren is het advies. 「So wanted to come here to stop in the Ice Hotel. Slept really well! On arrival they took you through the procedure for sleeping in the Ice room. The sleeping bags were very warm and due to my thermals I was very earm and comfortable. Theres places to sit if you needed to to come back in and warm up. Spar is great, breakfast good, lots of choice. If you dont have a car I do recommend booking the hotel shuttle. 500 nok one way and 25 mins to the airport. I only stopped one night. Will...

As a corner room, it offered breathtaking views over the city, fjord/harbour and mountains, and we were even able to see the aurora from the room when it was active.
