"Amazing location right next to Sliema Ferry station with a breathtaking view of Valletta. The apartment was well-equipped, modern, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. We got access to an outdoor pool at Manta Beach Club just across the street, which was also quite nice, even though we could not use it due to the weather. I would definitely recommend this place and would return any time."

"Nikolina was very friendly and courteous. Excellent location besides there is a lot of construction around. Rooms are very spacious, poor wi fi and the A/C wasn’t cooling. Good breakfast with lot of variety."

"Myself and two friends stayed here for 7 nights and stayed in a room with a double bed and a double sofa bed. Let’s talk about the facilities first. Before I booked this hotel I made sure it had a heated pool, but when we went to use the indoor facilities it was evident that the pool is not heated in the slightest. In fact, the “ice” bath was warmer than the pool and jacuzzi, and this is not a joke or exaggeration. We spent more time sitting in the ice bath than we did the main pool because of how much warmer it was. Considering the indoor pool had such a loud consistent noise going on in the background, you’d think the pool would be heated. Not to mention the excessive chlorine usage which stings your eyes as soon as you walk through the pool doors, surely not meeting regulations, if they even have them in Malta. Also wanting to mention, the pool water was not clean, and needs to be filtered more, not just packed with chlorine. The staff at the indoor pool had no idea why or if the pool would get heated at any point, and they were nowhere to be seen in the actual pool area at all, which resulted in a poor guy slipping and hitting his lower back extremely hard, because nobody was mopping up the excessive amounts of water on the floor. I do want to mention though that they had someone regularly mopping the floor at the outdoor pool, which also wasn’t heated, and was absolutely freezing. Longer review on Google."

"I am so happy that I decided to stay at Palazzo Violetta. I really liked that it’s located on a residential street, so it’s quiet. Jurgen checked me in rather late my first night and he was very friendly and helpful in describing everything about the hotel and he gave me excellent restaurant recommendations. I stayed in room 2 downstairs next to the breakfast room and it is a charming room with a very comfortable bed, pillows, and great rainfall shower. It was nice to have a refrigerator for leftovers and some groceries I purchased. The breakfast is really good with a lot of delicious items. And the coffee machine makes excellent coffee. The hotel is within walking distance of St. Julian’s waterfront and Sliema waterfront (and the ferry to Violletta) although the Sliema waterfront is farther and it’s mostly downhill from the hotel, which means you have to walk back up the hill. I love walking for exercise so it wasn’t an issue. There is a convenience store and a fruit stand on the way to the Bank of Violetta ATM. Travel tip: always use an ATM associated with a bank. If I ever return to Malta, I will definitely stay at Palazzo Violetta again."

"Enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. We didn't get off to a great start when we were unable to use our bathroom facilities due to some work/maintenance on the plumbing. It was 2 hrs before the work was done and it was inconvenient. Otherwise the hotel was very enjoyable. I especially want to note that your concierge had the day off when we needed some assistance with our return and flights and Diego stepped in to help us. Wow! He was fantastic! You should make him a concierge! He was patient, helpful and helped us through a problem with the airline until it was resolved. What an exceptional staff member!!! The location is great and was well sheltered from a sometimes busy and loud St Julians district. I would definitely stay again (minus the plumbing problems!)."

"Spent 5 nights in this hotel.. located a block behind seafront. Lots of lovely restaurants in the vicinity. Apartment was v dark and artwork a bit scary??! Neighbouring balconies were very close so v little privacy. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of options. €100 security deposit required on check in. Gorgeous infinity pool on the 11th floor ."

"Great seafront location Easy accessibility to ferry/buses/town centre from hotel. Manager - Kristian and his team were all outstanding and very helpful. Large choice for restaurants/cafes/bars nearby and at hotel. Breakfast choices brilliant and varied. Bar area a little small for ambience . Housekeeping staff very accommodating and helpful. Only minor comment - hotel next door was having extensive building work and there was noise from property and road . ( obviously temporary when work is being done). "
