I love everything about Montevideo, but the architecture is unique.
Absolutely loved Montevideo! Our great hotel was a little bit from the city center and the Old Town but was right on the Rambla which is the waterfront beach and walkway. When in the Ciudad Vieja, the Old Town area of Montevideo, you can't help but smell all of the meat being cooked in a massive warehouse looking building. This is Mercado del Puerto so grab a seat for massive amounts of meat and order the Medio y Medio, a mix of white and sparkling wine made there.
La Rambla de Montevideo. A long promenade along the coast. Was quite chilly while we were there, but it was beautiful nonetheless.

This property is a joke! Do not believes on the pictures from their website. Terrible experience, I arrive to the hotel and an hour late I was out. I paid for one week no return money.
