And if it’s rainy (as it was one of the days) the unit has large windows facing the lake, so the living room is still bright and pleasing! "We looked forward to this trip the past year and it did not disappoint. The location and view is absolutely beautiful. We took full advantage of the sauna to lake plunge daily. The kids loved the beach/water and looking for turtles around the house. Other than food and drink basically everything you need is supplied. We only left 1 time to go into town for the farmers market on Friday afternoons. Great trip!"

"This is a beautiful modern house on a long, long stretch of golden sand beach. The house has tons of windows and high ceilings so you feel like you are outdoors. It is a two level house so is perfect for larger family or just a couple (one bedroom on the main floor). It’s minutes from a boat launch. There are also smaller inland lakes nearby. The hosts are very nice folks. There is a lot to do in the area in spite of the feeling of being remote. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

Close to Houghton or Torch Lake / Hubbelll (7 miles) if you are taking the seaplane to Isle Royale."
