The suite was decorated in antiques and thoughtfully stocked with such things as personal bug spray, water, creamers/tea, etc. The "free parking" was on the public streets and square but the owner assisted us in making sure we were not in the wrong place at the wrong time. "Gafada was the perfect base from which to explore Trapani and the surrounding islands/towns. I only wish I was staying longer! I felt like I was going home when I stayed at Gafada. I stayed in a single room which was spacious and clean. The owners have devised a fantastic system on getting your bags up and down the building, as there is no elevator (just stairs, so perhaps not suitable for those who are elderly or injured). "Very centrally located, close to shops & churches, one of cinemas in Trapani and the port. 2 flights of stairs to access property, which might be tricky for persons with limited mobility. Nice inner yard on entrance with various plants. Comfy room with wifi access, balcony, heating/fan, mini-fridge, wardrobe, single sofa. Very welcoming and helpful host."

No bar - we stayed here for shelter during typhoon and would have been nice for casual area for wine and antipasto to escape from our room during storm but we understand it is what it is.
