About this property
Holy Smokes - 2 bdrms/2 bath, fire pit, pet friendly with yard
Located at the owner's entrance to Laurel Valley, Holy Smokes is convenient to find and easy to access. Concrete roads make it easy to access the cabin with all types of vehicles, including motorcycles. There is enough parking for 6 vehicles on gravel in front of the cabin. ABSOLUTELY NO TRAILERS ALLOWED ON PROPERTY.
Venture a little further, and you will find an open concept living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, and living area. The high ceilings and big screen TV add to the luxuriousness of the living space. The living room also features a gas fireplace to add coziness.
Holy Smokes offers two bedrooms. The master has an ensuite bathroom with a tub, shower, and lots of storage space. The bed is queen-size with storage space underneath for clothing and linens. The 2nd bedroom has a built-in bunk bed set. The bottom bunk has a full-size bed with a TV at the foot. Above the full bed is an enclosed twin side bed, great for a child. It is a really fun place to stay. There is a full 2nd bathroom off of the living area as well. PLEASE NOTE THAT BOTH THE MASTER QUEEN BED & FULL BED ARE LIFTED AND MAY BE HARD FOR THOSE OLDER OR DISABLED PERSONS TO ACCESS THEM.
Outside of Holy Smokes, you will find a large deck with outdoor dining. There is a park grill for you to use to cook steaks or burgers. Guests are also welcome to use our outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows and spend time around the fire. The fenced-in yard is great for those with children who want to play outside. Down the hill, behind the cabin, you will find a small creek and trail where bigger kids explore and roam without getting far from the cabin.

Common Concerns: *Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather. *TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem. *Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies, and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin, and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away, and unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors. *There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.
FEES: The management company of this cabin charges a $20 per stay Damage Waiver Fee to every customer. It is automatically included in your rate. This covers our guests for up to $350 worth of accidental damage should damage occur during their stay. If damage occurs to the cabin, furnishings, etc, please report it to management as soon as possible so that the damage can be repaired. You may opt out of paying the $20 damage waiver fee by putting down a $350 REFUNDABLE damage deposit.
✨ Peace of Mind & Travel Insurance: I want your stay to be stress-free and enjoyable. Please note that this home has a strict cancellation policy. Because life can be unpredictable, we encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance for extra peace of mind. This way, you can book with confidence knowing you’re protected no matter what comes up. This can be done at www.insuremytrip.com where you can pick the coverage that suits your situation.
