「The cabin is cozy and comfortable, surrounded by woods, peaceful and quiet. A sample of the owner's/manager's responsiveness: we reported that we couldn't find the lid to the coffee pot. A few hours later, there was brand new coffee pot at the door. (There was no urgency; the Keurig worked fine.) Great location too. Townsend is closest to the national park without the tourist mayhem or towns like Gatlinburg. I highly recommend the Yellow Door Cabin. (I'd love to get back there for fall...

「Everything was great. Paved driveway all the way to front porch which was excellent for the motorcycle. Went out to dinner and left house keys at cabin. The host was able to quickly help us out. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone!! Very peaceful and quiet. 」

「This is our 3rd year staying in the cabin & it is perfect for us. The cabin is always clean with plenty of supplies. It's close enough to town so it's not bothersome to run in if we need something or want to go to dinner. Suzette is a fabulous host. She is extremely quick to respond to messages. This cabin is so comfortable. We feel at home here with plenty of space. We love sitting on the front porch (especially in the mornings) watching the clouds lift from the mountain). Very peaceful! 」

「We enjoyed our stay very much. everything was very, clean, nicely decorated and provided everything we needed. Comfortable beds, great showers and cozy set up. We hiked Spruce Flats Falls, toured Tuckaleechee Caverns, visited Dollywood and played Hillbilly Putt Putt in Gatlinburg. I was so tired and sore that the hot tub was a real savior! We saw a black bear outside the cabin, which our kids throughly enjoyed! Close access to many activities. Bring a swimsuit because no store in Townsend...

We also saw a momma bear and her 2 cubs from the back porch! I also give the lady that owns this home a 10/10 as well. I will definitely be back again!
