"When we arrived the place was clean and organized. It is located in a very quiet place. It is a good place to take a break from the city. It has good access to the beach and the villages in the neighbourhood I had all the essentials for a short break. Overall a very cosy place."

Fantastic breakfasts The only minus for me was lack of coffee/tea maker, I think hotel at this standard should provide it. "

"Nice quiet stay away from the hustle of downtown Comporta (~12 min drive). I enjoyed walking to nearby local coffee shop for my espresso and the Leonardo supermarket for some daily supplies. I’m a little on the taller side; so, had to watch my head when walking through the doors (not an issue if one is under 5’10”). Otherwise, having a/c here is a big plus and necessary given the strong summer alentejo sun."

"No emergency numbers ie Doctor ,Dentist, Vet, Fire or flood or electricity. No information about shops bars restaurants or places to visit. Very very overlooked and close to neighbours with barking dogs and Crowing early morning Cockerel!!!. Had NO contact with owner apart from 1 Phone call never saw the man . Unable to discuss various problems with A The oven that kept switching itself off and didn’t,t reach temperature! B Front door unable to lock properly!"

"We loved our stay very much. The location is nicely secluded and the overall atmosphere gave us a sense of peace and relaxation. Isabela the host is super nice, she gave us good tips and was very helpful with everything. The outdoor is stunning with own pool and lots of space. This holiday was above our expectations. "We had a really wonderful stay. The house and outdoor areas are fantastic. Carla was very responsive to questions. The beach at Carvalhal is a short walk away and is absolutely gorgeous. It's perfect for kids at low tide and ideal for beginner surfers. We are definitely going to return in the near future."

"Schönes, sauberes Haus. Toller Pool. Super leichter Check-in. Leider bellten die Hunde des Nachbarns jedesmal, wenn jemand vorbeiging. Restaurants und Geschäfte waren leider nicht in der Nähe. Trotzdem empfehle ich diese Unterkunft für Selbstversorger weiter, die ein Auto besitzen."

"We had a great week in Comporta. The house is new, with lots of room for the whole family. A short walk to the beach, with a few great local restaurants. Francisco was a great host, who gave us suggestions for the area and was available for any problems."
