"The pool was nice but space for lounging by pool is small. There were many wasps a flies near the pool which made it difficult to relax. Reasonable price for a small basic room but out of the way from Setubal amenities that are walking distance. Recommend using an uber to get to other places . "
"We had a villa with private pool with 2 kids of 3 and 5 years old. It was very spacious and well decorated. The swimming pool is not big but perfect for us and in a nice location in the middle of pines and cork oaks.
Cleaning was done every day. People were nice and helpful.
Just a point of attention : we thought there was a laundry we could use : it is not the case.
Some mosquitos. Car is required.

"This hotel was a historic property dating back to the 14th century. Walking the cloisters and hallways was magical. Don’t miss the museum in the crypt below the hotel. So much history, dating back to the Bronze Age. I have never stayed in such an amazing property. Magnificent!"

"Good hotel if you are coming and going a lot to do sightseeing. There is lots of free parking nearby and a car park but this is a very small area so difficult to manoeuvre if in a big car. The breakfast options were good and many. I’d stay again if in Setúbal. "

ONLY ISSUE is you cannot leave the property to go to dinner or to the beach without paying 110 euros to get there and back. They should have a shuttle to Comporta but do not. "Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel right on the beach. Would absolutely recommend and stay again. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close walk to the beach and to the dock area with plenty of dining options and Casino. Indoor pool is a big plus for when weather isn’t ideal for outdoor pool and beach. My kids enjoyed the kids club child care for the adults to get a break. Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Can’t wait to return and stay here again. "
