It is a real privilege to stay in a castle. It is stunning; the interior courtyard is cool and a great place to enjoy breakfast, cocktails or just read a book. The restaurant serves amazing food, and the staff are delightful. If I ever find myself in Salamanca again i will stay here, I will definitely eat here, everything is just delightful.

Lovely medieval castle with special atmosphere!! A magnificent interior court, lovely stairs and antique rooms! Superb! Room is very nice too with well appointed bathroom and great views. Delicious breakfast included! Evenings on the terrace in front of the castle very pleasant. Highly recommended to match the magic and special beauty of Salamanca! Perfect pairing! Hope to return! Loved it!

El castillo es una maravilla! Un sitio precioso en un entorno inmejorable La habitación donde estuvimos era muy grande y super confortable. (El aire acondicionado hace ruido, pero afortunadamente no hacía falta ponerlo) La piscina es muy bonita y tiene tumbonas y toallas El desayuno super completo con productos de calidad Durante nuestra estancia había un boda, pero no se ha escuchado nada y no hubo ninguna molestia o ruido No es la primera vez que hemos estado aquí y seguramente no será la última

If you have an adventurous heart that romanticizes the Middle Ages, Posada Real Castillo del Buen Amor is the place to stay. It is a genuine castle decorated in the traditional 16th-century style. The accommodations range from royal family quarters to dungeons and tower soldier rooms. While every room stays true to the historical theme, each is well-equipped with modern bathrooms and amenities. Exploring the property is a treat, as every corner feels like a step back in time. The outside terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of house wine as the afternoon light fades and the beautifully lit castle takes on a magical aura. The food at the on-site restaurant was very good, and the breakfast was excellent. My wife, my two adult sons, and I fell in love with the place—the hardest part was having to leave! The castle is conveniently located about 35 minutes north of beautiful Salamanca. Note on Accessibility: As this is an authentic medieval castle with roots extending back to Roman times, there are no elevators. It may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues, as many rooms are accessed by long flights of stairs. Management does warm guests about this during booking, but it is worth keeping in mind. also ther is free Parking and EV electric charging station on site.

A nice place. But...more attention to details is needed. The AC in to room was not working. The WIFI in the room was not working at all (yes, is a stone castle, but there are ways to solve it) The restaurant was nice...but they served more or less raw iberian pork (meat was blue-red when it arrived at.the plate, ie. not pre-heated prior or BBQ)
