"Was veryquiet and comfortable"

"Rolling down the driveway on Friday evening we were greeted by the serenity of Meadowbrook - twinkling fairy lights, a spacious lawn for the kids, cute homemade bar area and plenty of outdoor seating. The house was immaculate with plenty of options for beds, heating, sitting areas, etc so we could all spread out and have space. Everything was clean, tidy and easy to use. We used the house as a base for the Lonely Mountain Ultra and then visits to vineyards etc the next day. We enjoyed the fire pit and the kids loved exploring outside and seeing kangaroos. Everything was perfect and we could have stayed much, much longer! Beds were exceptionally comfy - we all slept in for hours each morning: total luxury considering we had 4 kids in the house! "

"A lovely property in a very quiet location. We stayed here last year too and since then, plantation shutters have been added to all rooms. The master suite is huge and has a lovely bathroom. The room with the fireplace is very cosy and we used it a lot as it was very cold and raining during our stay. In warm weather there is a lovely verandah in the gardens. We noticed it wasn’t quite as clean as the last time we stayed but nothing we couldn’t fix ourselves. The house is very dark and none of the lighting, except the bathrooms, seems to be sufficient, especially on dark and dreary days. But all in all, it’s a lovely place to stay"

"Maggie and Ron were excellent hosts and went out of their way to accommodate us. The property is beautiful and the accommodation was exceptionally clean, well appointed and comfortable. The breakfasts were a real treat. Highly recommend."
