"Beautiful hotel in a somewhat surprising place. Very elegant and almost gilded age."

"Location was excellent. Room was tiny and not particularly clean. Sink was a bit clogged and toilet was not flushing properly. To get to room, you had to walk up a very large flight of stairs (with luggage). Free breakfast had limited selection and just plain not good. I would never stay here again."

The staff at both check in and at the restaurant was very pleasant and helpful. Was not cheap but was a lot of room for the money. "The room was spacious and very comfortable. Air conditioning was working perfectly. Although the window faced interstate, we didn’t hear any noise. Breakfast was excellent."

"Room was too small; hardly any space for ironing board (explains why it was not provided). They may consider tearing down the closed almost condemned hotel office. I would not feel comfortable staying alone. It was just a one late night sleep space we needed."
