Hotel Grif is in the middle of a cute town of Cosenza (incl. some loading stations for electric vehicles in the near), nice smart breakfast, super understanding of service & great hotel staff which loves to serve you incl. live for animals! "Everything about the hotel was absolutely wonderful!!!! However, one evening we were stranded out on Corsa Mazzini and we called the hotel. The gentleman that was on duty. It was very late at night around 1 AM. Did call a cab to come and pick us up however, when we arrived at the hotel, he asked for a tip which took a by surprise. We did indeed paid the cab driver who was such a gentleman I just found it very odd that someone working at reception would ask to be tipped. All I had on me was a few coins and he clearly said are you sure you don’t have some bills? We did let him know. We don’t carry much money on us as we always use our credit card. I thought the whole encounter was very bizarre."

"The hotel is near family and in a very good location. The rooms were clean, large, and the staff were extremely helpful. It was our second time staying and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was very good and the portions were large."

"Reception and staff were all very pleasant and friendly. When the safe’s alarm went off because of low batteries, they promptly came and serviced it. The bathroom itself was fairly small. The shower had a bit of mold, and the shower doors did not completely close. It was also a fairly small shower, with barely enough room to turn around in it. Water pressure was decent. The only toiletries provided was from the wall-mounted soap dispenser. The bed was extremely firm, as were all the pillows (not to taste). There was parking in front of the hotel, and it was easy to get in and out of. It was close to multiple restaurants, easily walkable."
