This property was able to accommodate our group of 13 and we are all still raving about the views and the pool! San Lucido was not far away and had nice grocery stores and gelaterias. "This place was great and exactly served our purposes to be close to the beach. It had everything we needed and the best part were the hosts. We bumped into them on our last night and ended up having drinks with them for a couple hours--what a great family! Grazie mille!"

"Our host was extremely hospitable from the moment we entered the property. Making sure we were comfortable with the accommodations and helping us bring our bags upstairs, our host was friendly and was very responsive with any communication leading to our stay. The terrace gave a beautiful view of the ocean with an exquisite view of the sunset. Some options for meals outside of the vrbo, however most restaurants found were attached to a hotel which was great! We did have to drive about 20 mins...

"Pretty farmhouse with a great pool and nice views. Staff speaks mostly Italian, we communicated mostly using google translate. During the day the farmhouse is very quiet, but in the evening after 2230 they organise wedding parties which can be vey loud and take until 0230AM. Not ideal if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep. Breakfast was very nice with all sorts of nice cakes. Reception was closed when arrived, nobody was available to check us in. "Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back."
