「Upon arrival, we received a very friendly welcome. Unfortunately, we had forgotten our debit and credit cards, so we asked the receptionist if it was possible to withdraw cash via their debit card machine (Apple Pay). This wasn't possible. There was also no nearby bank with a phone (Apple Pay) to withdraw cash. We found this very disappointing. The lesson learned is that we will never forget our debit cards on vacation again.
