"Sunset Station charges a $45 per night resort fee for amenities. We did not know about this until we arrived and checked in. This is a super high resort fee for a hotel off the strip in Henderson. The fitness room was small and outdated. We did not use the valet. When we arrived we found out that the pool was closed for our entire stay. When I booked the room I was told the pool would be open on March 20. This is the #1 reason we chose this hotel and it was over a 100 degrees every day during our stay. There wasn’t any other outdoor seating. We asked for a day pass for another station casino and were told we would have to pay for that ourselves. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The casino was new and casino staff was friendly. The bathroom was outdated and the shower was awful. Sunset Station used to be an extremely nice hotel and a good value. We will definitely not stay here again. "

"I had a great view of the entire Strip out of my window. The property was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a nice barbecue area for the guests and there are restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance. There is a grocery store nearby that will deliver. The only negative thing I could say is that though you have a kitchenette, they don’t let you use any dishes, silverware, or pans; you either need to bring your own or buy from them. "

"I was there post surgery for an extended 2.5 week stay and the staff was amazing and made sure we had all we needed and everything was clean and they were very responsive. While there I observed the staff love helping the guests! Especially the housekeeping and Maintenance amazing people they will definitely ensure you have all you need. "
