This was misleading advertising on Hotels.com. I selected a tent with 2 queen beds and a bunk bed for about R1700. Just before we arrived I got a call from the hosts and let them know that 2 friends would arrive 30 minutes before us. I was told that I would have to pay an additional R790 for them because they charge extra each person over 2. This was not made clear on the app. This accommodation was not worth over R2,500 for the night. Unhappy guests who feel ripped off.

Mega cooles Zelt und sehr liebe Inhaberin, die uns ein reichhaltiges Frühstück zur Verfügung gestellt hat (gegen Aufpreis). Wir würden sofort wiederkommen. Den Kindern hat es so sehr gefallen. Die Stille und Ruhe nachts war schön.

The tent was very will equipped and comfortable. There was a stove, toaster, fridge, air conditioning, heating, large bathroom with rain head shower which had never ending hot water and excellent water pressure. There was a community project where you would only pay 1R for a piece of wood conveniently stored under the tent. The fire pit was large and allowed you to cook food easily. There was also an indoor wood stove. Check in was very easy. Africamps Ingewe is conveniently located close to Elephant Sanctuary, Jukani, Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Plettenburg Bay, and several wineries.

Gosh I don’t know where to start. It was just amazing. We didn’t see another person in sight, it was so relaxing, with all the amenities. Once we arrived we cancelled all our other plans to go out for the night as it was so spectacular we didn’t want to leave. A room with a hot tub is a must

Wunderbare Unterkunft in schönster Umgebung, mitten in der Natur und in vollkommener Ruhe. Das Africamp bietet sich perfekt an für einen Aufenthalt in der Natur und um richtig abzuschalten oder die Umgebung des Tsitsikama National Parks zu erkunden. Das Zelt/Bungalow ist sehr süß und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man kann ein Lagerfeuer machen und zum Sonnenuntergang auf der schönen Veranda sitzen. Auch das Grillzeug und Frühstück war unglaublich gut hergerichtet und es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt außerdem einen Pool, den man nutzen kann und wo es mehrer Liegen gibt. Wir würden das Africamp jedem sehr empfehlen!

Fun "glamping" experience!

Enjoyed our stay at Afrikamps. Beautiful orchards and gazelle. We were only here one night, but did a nice little walk and enjoyed a fire inside the tent. Wifi was a bit spotty at first, but reception helped us figure out how to get our phones connected. The spiders were a bit much for my mom, but it all goes with glamping! My husband had a good time with his spider relocation program (no spiders were harmed in the process) to get the tent ready for sleeping.
