"Hotels card keys not working had to physically go down to front desk 5 times to have staff replace card no visible front desk line in sight. The cleaning staff never cleaned my room so sand accumulated all them days even on bed very uncomfortable a cleaning person asked if I wanted my room clean and I said yes they said later because they had a lot of rooms ahead only to see they did go but only to empty trash. Last night stay woke up to no electricity had to pack at 4am in the morning in the dark had to use stairs from third floor with all my luggage my 11 year old tripped and fell on last step going down stairs because no lights in the stairway when I asked front desk they said it was a schedule power outage I was never notified of this scheduled outage it’s crazy and completely outrageous. I had never had such a horrible experience I will be notifying everyone I know including my corporation of this unprofessional and unacceptable service honestly a hazard should really shut it down if it can’t be maintained or handled appropriately."

"Hotel pulled the bait and switch. Booked a King room and when we arrived was told practically scolded that we have 2 queens and Expedia was the problem. Then proceeded to lie about the reasons. Never have i ever in all the years of booking hotels have been treated in this manner. I went on their website and they had plenty of King options. Pics for proof. We had a formal dinner to get ready for and i had no time to find another hotel. Walls are prtty thin FYI. Room carpet needs sealed off.threshold isnt flush and is a foot hazard. Reno gone wrong. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Moody Gardens Friday through Sunday. We were there for Showtime Internationals Competition weekend. Moody Gardens was also hosting Ironman. There was plenty parking, everything was clean from lobby to poolside. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had lunch at the Cafe the food was amazing. We purchased tickets for the day pass for Moody Gardens attractions which is just a short walk from the hotel. The hotel room was spacious as well as the bathroom. Bedding was very comfortable. Overall stay was great. We will be staying again in the future. "

"My room was clean, air conditioning good, the staff seems to be able only when you check in and check out, nobody cleaned my room during my stay. Also, the hotel is very close to Karbach Brewing Co. only 4 minutes away making it very convenient. And one last thing… the parking lot is not safe, they need to work on this; put cameras, fenced the parking lot or hire security at night, someone got their four tires stolen in the parking lot over the weekend 3/28/26. Htown is something else."

"The room was so small it's crazy, it was like a European studio apartment for a student. There was no fridge in the room. We requested one upon arrival that we had to call again for once we got there and there was barely anywhere to put it. Plus was that it was free of charge to add it on to our stay. Hotel is a good location and walking distance to the convention center and the parking garage across the street is only $15 overnight parking compared to some of the other ones."
