Everything was excellent :)

We loved our stay in the apartment and stayed longer than we planned. The view is incredible and the apartment is very spacious and clean. It is equipped with everything that you need. San Marcos is a beautiful place and we are sad to leave and hope to come back next time!

My stay in Playa de San Marcos

Juan was an attentive host and I enjoyed my two week stay. The apartment was not the one described and was on the first floor at the opposite end of the building. This, I was told, was due to neighbour problems in the advertised apartment. That said, I found the apartment clean and spacious. There were a number of items listed but not provided such as a kettle and toaster but these were easily got around. The main missing items were the iron and ironing board. I travel light and wash and iron as I go along. You need a car if staying in San Marcos. This was no problem to me as I hired a car for my stay with a view to using the apartment as a base to see the north of the island. Over-all I had a poitive stay and a good holiday.

Lovely peaceful location

We loved this place. If you want a big resort with lots of stuff going on, it really isn't for you. However, if you'd like somewhere a little off the main drag, quieter, more chilled out, then it's absolutely perfect. A minute from the beach, a decent restaurant on the ground floor, easy access to Icod. Perfect for us. Juan was a great host and the apartment was clean and tidy. Would definitely go back again.

Besser als beschrieben...

Vermieter hat mir ein Upgrade gegeben mit zwei Schlafzimmern und mehr Wohnraum - wäre nicht nötig gewesen, war aber nett. Alles wie beschrieben. Küche gut ausgestattet, Bett bequem, Aussicht auf die Bucht spitze. Nachts sehr ruhig (bis aufs Meeresrauschen, aber das Schlafzimmer geht eh nach hinten raus). Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden, am Wochenende kann es allerdings voll werden (war an den Feiertagen dort, eine der Bars im Ort scheint sehr beliebt zu sein). Allerdings war ich während der Pandemie dort, zu normalen Zeiten ist wahrscheinlich sehr viel mehr los (wenn, sind Parkplätze einige Hundert Meter weiter ebenfalls vorhanden). Zwei, drei Restaurants sind vor Ort. Kleine Nachteile: Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist ziemlich schwach. Internet ist nicht das schnellste, Streamen erfordert etwas Geduld, geht aber. Insgesamt wiegen diese Nachteile nicht schwer. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Schönes Apartment mit tollem Blick aufs Meer

Sehr gut ausgestattete gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit fantastischen Blick auf Hafen und Bucht. Das Apartment entsprach genau den Beschreibungen. Der Gastgeber hatte sogar für Essen und Trinken gesorgt. Am Strand von San Marcos gibt es mehrere Restaurants, die regionale Küche anbieten. Im Oktober und November ist San Marcos ein beschaulicher und ruhiger Ort, ideal für Menschen die dem Trubel eines Touristenortes entfliehen wollen.

Exceeded my expectations.

A lovely part of the island. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. Despite a couple of hiccups, WiFi and lighting, the owner was soon on the problems and sorted them out. The position was as stated, overlooking the sea, which made time spent on the balcony with a cold beer, very pleasant.
