"The hotel is in a fantastic location to everything. It is quite loud around and inside the hotel, so it’s probably not for you if you’re looking for a good night of rest. The rooms are tiny, but sufficient. The rooms and hallways of the hotel seem a bit grungy. "

"Housekeeping doesn’t come unless asked. They only came once during our 5-night stay (only after I asked them to) and did a poor job. One member of the front desk staff was also very rude to me (the rest were very kind). The bathroom light didn’t work. The sheets and duvet were too thin for my liking. On the positive side, the room was very spacious, the location was pretty good, and we had a wonderful view"

"It was spacious and quiet!!!! It also had lots of lobby space and also outdoor seating area by the pool. The bed was comfortable as well. It was in a good central downtown location but about a block away from all the loud craziness of downtown. "

"All staff was excellent, and I appreciated the available coffee! Overall I thought the price I paid ($497) for two nights was far too high for the quality of the hotel, and I have regrets about booking at La Quinta. I do understand that it was SXSW and prices are likely higher around that time. "
