This is my first review of anything ever - product, place, airline, anything! My stay at The George deserves a review because it was so perfect. Amazing food, lovely room, slept well, great breakfast. Simply nothing negative to say! Staff are great and I will stay again if I get the chance.
My only feedback would be to suggest soft close toilet seats in the rooms 😬

We stayed in the family studio at The Crown Inn for a wedding at Lapstone Barn which was just 10 minutes away. The room was perfect for us, with a double and 2 single beds. The room has its own entrance away from the main building and we found it quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great and service from all members of staff friendly and welcoming.

Placed in a room next to a heavy fire door that people used to enter the corridor to there rooms this coursed us a unpleasant night's stay with having a 3 year old to that was disturbed on several occasions and needed reassurance to drift back off to sleep, this impacted on our sleep too.
