"I loved my stay at the Oakmoon. I was the only one there for two days, so I had free use of my spacious room, plus the open-plan full kitchen and living room area and the funky little interior patio with hand-painted mural. The house is on a narrow street of mostly private homes and a few bars and restaurants and close to plenty of other restaurants, shops, the marina, cathedral, laundromat, etc. Sarah, the house manager, is friendly and very helpful, if you need anything. "We didn't even sleep here. The pictures on the site are NOT what you get. The host didn't want us to come to the site and asked to meet us at a pizza place. She then asked to get into our rental car and we "drove" to the site which was down an alley with a bar outside with lots of drunk men lounging around. The property was dirty full of flies and the toilet didnt' work. She insisted that we pay and added extra "fees" to the bill which she claimed were from our CC company but were not. THIS...

"The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and efficient. The private shower room down the corridor needed some maintenance and our room being near the front door was sometimes noisy. The location was good and the experience more than satisfactory. We were grateful for the ear defenders to reduce disturbing noise from the busy road and other guests."
