"We loved how quiet it was they’d gone some trouble to cut out the noise. We’ve stayed at other motels in the same street that were quite noisy. For this motel the bedroom was at the back of the unit and had wooden shutters to deaden the noisy was very effective. The curtains made the unit very dark which was great for sleeping in. "We were a group of 5 friends running in the Hawkes Bay 10km. The house is conveniently located to Napier shops and the Marine Parade. It had everything we needed, including a one button gas fire place. Good afternoon sun and we felt relaxed and cozy here. The decor and fittings are dated but for comfy beds and a cheap and cheerful getaway it was ideal for us. Ron was excellent to deal with."

"Hubby, our dog (Rodger) and I had a lovely relaxed 2 night break here. Jo and her 2 wee kuri met us on arrival and then left us to enjoy our stay. We were able to relax, watch a bit of TV, sleep and do absolutely nothing.
