Staff were polite but, strangely, absolutely refused to make a call to a local restaurant for us to book a table (unfortunately we only have a data SIM in Japan so could not make phone calls). "It’s an old hotel, but clean. The rooms are fairly small, but it’s fine for a business trip. The only bad point is that the staff insists on making a copy of ID even for foreign residents. "

"Basic hotel directly in front of Honhachinohe Station. Rooms small but clean. Large TV with Netflix, Disney+, etc. Easy 10 minutes walk to Main Street with many restaurants."
