Location was great, unit was not. Nice property, great pool area, walk right out to town and beach. Dishwasher was difficult to get running and leaked water on the floor, A/C in master dripped in puddles through closet, dryer had no heat, couch was broken, and pullout bed mattress was at a considerable angle for sleeping. I reached out to the Vacasa contact to alert them about a couple of the issues, with no reply. The unit was worn and in need of renovating. For over 500 USD per night, I expected a more dependable stay.

The location is fantastic if you plan to wake up and surf or hang out on the beach. The main part of town can get a little loud but it’s a bit away so while it’s walkable you don’t hear it all at night. The pool was a nice touch as was the washer and dryer in the unit. The appliances and couch need some updating. The refrigerator was cold but the door racks were falling off and the dishwasher had not been properly sealed with insulation sticking out. The couch although comfy was definitely broken. But the space is big, the balcony is nice, and the place stays pretty cool.

Needs love!

The property was lovely, nicely decorated but stops there. Several reasons1Only 2 washcloths and 2 hand towels for 3 women, when I requested more Vacasa never resolved2The floors were so dirty our feet were black! not resolved3Broken vanity drawer fell on and injured my adult granddaughter4King bed worst I have see in all of my rentals! 5Holes in the bathroom door6Cracked slinging patio door and hard to open and lock7Dishwasher not properly installed8Broken decorations 9Filthy dusty power cords and other surfaces10If this was my property Vacasa would need to go! They don't care about anything other than their % of managing!

Great Tamarindo Location

Great property huge unit for only 2 people. Would be great for a family vacation loved the pool and the covered patio. Easy walk to the beach. Well stocked kitchen.

Great location!

Really enjoyed our time in Tamarindo! Condo was nice but was a bit dated. Overall clean and comfy but frig wasn’t working properly. Way too cold even after adjusting. Dishwasher not completely installed under cabinet. While there was adequate plates and utensils had to run dishwasher after most meals. Location of condo was excellent. Easy walk to all restaurants and beach. Pool was busy every day and chairs were at a premium. Only one hairdryer in the unit even though 2 bathrooms. Also safe was a key look and in the main bedroom. Would have been better if had a touchpad and was in a central location. Sliding door to patio was broken and had to be secured with a pole.

Wonderful location and views!

The condo is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. We loved having a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and two full bathrooms for our family. The view from the patio is incredible and the location in Tamarindo can’t be beat. I’d definitely go back. Costa Rica is amazing!

Perfect for Our Needs

We were looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable place close to the beach for our family to stay for two nights on the end of a week-long wedding trip and this is just what we got! The pictures are exactly what the place looks like. There is a view to the ocean from the balcony and the condo is directly on the main street in Tamarindo. We didn’t need to rent a car, we just walked up and down the streets filled with shops and restaurants and endless beach views/access. The only downside to the condo was that there was this gross sewage-y smell that came through the vents occasionally (once waking me up in the middle of the night it smelled so bad!). Also, there was a lot of calcium build-up around the shower heads and faucets that hindered good water flow in the shower. Other than that, five stars all around!

Getaway for Two

Property is in ideal location. You don't need to rent a car as it's short walking distance to everything. The concierge service can take care of transportation to and from the airport. You can use the savings for other activities in the area. Condo/balcony is central to the property and has the perfect view of the pool and waterfall. Well gardened and kept up. Some of the best times were sitting on the balcony early in the morning listening to the Howler Monkeys and birds as they woke up for the day.

Overall great!

Overall our stay was great, the location was convenient to walking most everywhere, the pool was beautiful waterfalls were fun, the unit is large and spacious and comfortable. It could use some attention to maintenance (dishwasher not installed properly but functional) and some tile needs replacing in the bathroom but the shower was very spacious and water pressure was good. Lots of shampoo conditioner and body wash available. The grounds were well-maintained and the environment was pretty quiet.

Nice place convenient location.

Very good experience. Management very responsive. There is a safe for securing valuables. Pool is large and very clean. Large balcony with pool/ocean view is great spot. Walk to beach and many good restaurants. Kitchen is fully equiped but not stocked other than salt and pepper (buy your own cooking oil). No cleaning supplies. Residents of other units didn't always respect quiet hours and Friday nights and Saturday nights music from nearby club kept some of us awake.

What fun!

Renting this property was a breeze! Great communication with the property managers. Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. Wonderful layout for two couples or a family. The location works great for easy access to all of Tamarindo’s restaurants and activities.

Perfect Location

We loved the location of this property. Short walk across the street to the beach. Pool was beautiful. Neighbors were quiet. Perfect location for all resturants and other shops. Our only complaint is there are not enough towels for a family of four. We struggled with a family of three and only four towels. We ended up purchasing towels to use while in Costa Rica.

Awesome Vacation Rental in Tamarindo

Just returned from a week long visit to Tamarindo and staying in this wonderful condo. Everything was just like the pictures and more. The condo was big enough, comfortable enough and in a perfect location. The pool was fantastic to swim in every day. Everyone in Costa Rica was polite and friendly. The food in Tamarindo was great everywhere we ate. Costa Rica Cafe right next to guard gate was fantastic for breakfast and lunch. If you visit Tamarindo, you will not go wrong in renting this condo. It is perfect for two couples or a family with children. They will absolutely love the pool and the howler monkeys outside the rear of the condo, hanging in the trees. Bring sunblock because it does get hot and you wouldn't want to burn. Thanks so much for helping us make wonderful memories in your condo and in your town. We will definitely be back and will recommend your condo to others. Gracias and Pura Vida.
