Takehara Museum of History and Folklore

We loved this hotel! The buffet breakfast was quite extravagant - there were almost too many options! The hotel has a public bath/sento. It is not tattoo friendly, though I had no issues using it with a tattoo cover. It was just one bath, but it was relaxing. The room was well layed out and the bathroom was a decent size. There was a bit of a strange smell in the lobby and common areas when we first arrived, but it disappeared by the next day and must have been a weird fluke occurrence. It didn't bother us any other day. We assume it was maintenance. It's just a short walk from a tram station and relatively close to the Peace Memorial Park. Would definitely recommend this place!

The suite wasn't as advertised, and what we were expecting. Looked dated and tired and incredibly noisy from restaurants behind and the train. Food smells from nearby restaurants permeated the whole suite and rooms also smelt musky.
