"Amazing room, especially for the price, even as a solo traveller. Would definitely recommend (and have done to friends and family already). Great location, can see the deer from the window. "Fantastic location, steps away from the JR train station! Incredible staff, who went above and beyond both ahead of my stay and during my visit. Even assisting with understanding how to use the Yamato luggage forwarding system! My room was well equipped, spacious for a solo traveler and very comfortable. Local amenities and in hotel washers and dryers came in clutch! And it was great having a gym in the building too! Highly recommended… and would happily stay here again next time I visit Nara!"

"The hotel is beautifully positioned adjacent to the park, so watching the deer while enjoying a drink is easy. The rooms are absolutely fine with plenty of space, good views and are very clean. My only disappointment is that they are trying too hard to be 'fancy'. The drinks menu at the bar area is very nice, but just far too select to the point of being minimal. No water in the room, you collect from a filter unit in the basement in a jug. There's a kettle but only matcha tea provided. Etc . It's just not my style at all, but may suit many people."
