"I loved the area around the property. The style of the rooms was very nice as well. "

"Great spot for staying a night or two directly in the Nara Park. This allowed us to get up early and have basically the whole park to ourselves before the tourist groups arrive. Would definititely recommend it! The room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and the location was perfect."

"The property seems to be recently updated, it is modern, and clean. The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. Also the road to access the property is quite narrow...

"My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations. "The hotel room was standard size for Japanese standards. The people and facilities were really pleasant. They were so kind and helpful to us. We were very comfortable there and the onsen really rejuveated us after a long day of walking through Nara in rain. Breakfast buffet has a selection of western and japanese cuisine. It was pretty middle standard fare and you opt to eat outside if you have something in mind but it is very convenient and covers a variety of foods people might eat. We also splurged on the dinner but had a lovely meal. The foods included local cuisine and food iconic to Japan. But if you on a budget, resturants are all 10-15 min walk away. Convenience stores like Lawson and local marts are also 5-10 min away. You can easily make a meal out of the food you find there yourself. I am very grateful to the staff for making this little place comfortable for us. Would recommend if you staying in Nara for a short visit."
