Beautiful views, great location. Be mindful that there are around 90 stairs or an inclinator to access the property. The host is very nice and helpful.

A good spot for a short stay

We were attending a wedding nearby and this was the perfect spot to base ourselves. Close to beaches, cafes, clean and very quiet. The spa is definitely a bonus!

Wonderful stay

Welcoming host and spotless comfortable accommodation with great views and close to the beach (walkable down the hill). The location is great and ideal for access to the Northern beaches. Hot tub on the deck is the icing on the cake.

Refreshing and relaxing

A 5 day stay to unwind and be near the beach. Lynn is a wonderful host and gave fantastic advice about where to go and provided what ever was needed and offered so much extra. The hot tub with a view was unbelievable and the facilities are just what you need to satisfy every need. I will be back as the stay completely fufilled the brief.

Beautiful and immaculate

We had a very enjoyable stay at Beauty Drive, and Lynne is an excellent host. The accommodation was immaculately clean, modern, and very comfortable. The location is utterly stunning, with amazing views, and the beach is a short stroll away. Highly recommend to anyone who is hoping for a quiet, and beautiful getaway.

Whale Beach Cottage Review

This was a lovely stay! My friend and I had a relaxing stay here - the cottage was nice and secluded. Lynne was great with communication (very friendly and reasonable) and the stay felt very private. The spa was our highlight - it was pleasantly hot and enjoyable for late-night chats. The bedroom and bathroom were nicely air-conditioned and clean. Outdoor shower was a nice bonus and the views from the deck were stunning. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to getaway for a few nights as a Northern Beaches local!

Lovely space

The room is lovely, clean and just like the pictures. It is only one room with a spa and deck outside. The self contained description means motel style. No actual cooking or laundry facilities- the host kindly did a load of washing for us. We ate out at the lovely local cafes and restaurants. The access is very steep - lots of steps or a Travelator Whale beach is close and the swimming beautiful.

This unique property offers the opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to reconnect with nature and your someone special! The cottage is located down a long flight of stairs (however there is a fun travelator to help with the bags and to save your legs!). The cottage offers a single room with a large bed, bar fridge, basic tea and coffee making facilities and a large ensuite. Whilst there's no TV you are more than spoilt with a large spa overlooking a picturesque valley, a fire pit (BYO fire wood), an outdoor hot shower and a large sun deck complete with banana lounges and bean bags. Whilst the cottage backs onto the host's property your privacy is guaranteed by Lynne who is there to help with any issues you may encounter. We decided to venture out and explore the area and discovered a great Surf Life Saving Club at Whale Beach and continued to the famous Palm Beach for lunch. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend to anyone looking to switch off and breathe in this private, intimate spa cottage

A fitting title for this review could be: Misleading Description and Lack of Privacy

The property was advertised as a "self-contained secluded cottage," but it’s right next to the main house, which has windows facing the cottage. While the blinds were pulled down, this did little to make the space feel private or secluded. The "cottage" is just a small room with a bed, mini-fridge, and coffee machine—definitely not self-contained. Upon check-in, Lynne assured us we wouldn’t see her as she’d be at the front of the house. After taking in the surroundings, we realized the property wasn’t as advertised and called Lynne to discuss the situation. She became defensive, insisting she wasn’t staying there, which contradicted what she implied during check-in. She also mentioned she might pop in and out to grab things, further diminishing any sense of privacy. While the view from the deck is lovely, the bed is too low to enjoy the view from inside, and the outdoor shower lacks privacy due to nearby windows. There was also an odd cured meat smell in the room. We were so disappointed that we left after one night, despite booking for three. We didn’t use the spa or showers to avoid inconveniencing Lynne. To make matters worse, when we shared these concerns, Lynne changed the listing description to reflect our complaints and then accused us of not reading it properly before booking. This response was not only unprofessional but also felt like an attempt to shift blame onto us for her misleading description.

Tranquil Easter stay

My husband and our dog had a very enjoyable stay at this cute secluded cottage over the Easter long weekend. It's very clean with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. It was a great place to unwind with beautiful views and a relaxing outdoor hot tub. Short walk to Whale Beach.

Everything was easy... From the booking, check in etc. Spa was on for our arrival, enjoyed the fireplace and awesome shower! Lynne has thought of everything - we wanted for nothing. Stunning location. I would thoroughly recommend this property for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Cosy Weekend Getaway

Check in was a breeze - great communication with Lynne. She was very welcoming and loved our dog. The property was exactly how it was described in the listing. Clean and cosy. The WiFi signal is not strong but it didn't bother us - We enjoyed our quiet 2 night stay. Our dog also loved exploring the property!

The property is set amongst the trees with filtered views over Pittwater, very pretty, peaceful and secluded. The phone reception and wifi is very weak and there is no TV so bring a book if you plan to spend time here.
