If you're considering a stay close to all that The Rocks and surrounds has to offer, then look no further.
This historic building has all the modern comforts you require, whilst still retaining some of the original features. It is extremely spacious by Sydney standards and has a fully equipped kitchen .
The location is close enough to everything you could wish for, with the luxury of the relative quiet of being in a more residential part of the city. It's a short walk to pubs and restaurants of Walsh Bay wharf, a great wine shop and small IGA grocery store, and also to the heart of The Rocks via Argyle St. It is very close to a pub with great food, however we did not notice any noise from the establishment on either nights.
Apartment 4 is on the first floor and has views of the top of the Harbor Bridge. It also has a small balcony off the bedroom at the rear of the building, however the view is not something to behold at the time of writing. The French doors to the balcony do allow a stiff breeze to come through when locked into position and the blind rolled down, so I imagine the small heater supplied may be required in the cooler months. (Sydney was wet and windy for part of our weekend stay, but not so cold that we considered heating).
We would most definitely stay in the building again. The landlords were most attentive (via messenger), and were genuinely caring. It is great value for money
