Although the hotel is a bit dated, it goes with the ambiance of the building. I found our room and bathroom clean and cozy. The building has so many areas to sit and relax. We liked it that much we have booked another trip in September 」

Food choice was good. Downside the amount of curry my wife had could of been more plentiful. My teriyaki fish needed more seasoning, I don't usually add salt or pepper to meals but in this case had to.
Saying that my 2 friends steak and linguine was apparently lovely. The full English was exceptionally good and plentiful

「Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. 」
「Every where in the hotel was very clean and well presented, the dining room was spacious and comfortable, breakfasts were amazing. The bar was also good and although we didn't eat the food looked good. The hotel and bar are very dog friendly. Everyone was warm and welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay.
