Top Sussex Hotel Reviews

Sleep Inn & Suites Monroe - Woodbury

8/10 Good

"The entire motel was excellent shape. The rooms were top notch. Breakfast had everything you would expect. Only complaint , and it is a slight one, would be that the the walls and ceilings were pretty thin and it was pretty easy to hear people in the adjoining rooms."

Mountain Creek

8/10 Good

"Our room was very clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the mountains. The parking garage was hard to navigate and it was a little odd that there is no reception desk - it’s just a person in the snack shop onsite, but everyone was nice and able to answer our questions. The biggest issue was that we were all ready to get food and drink at Redtail Lodge (the only restaurant onsite) and it was completely closed for a private event. This meant we had to drive offsite for dinner which we were not planning to do. They should let guests know ahead of time or offer an alternative spot to eat. Overall, a positive experience though."

Tru by Hilton Middletown

8/10 Good

"The room seemed smaller than normal with a King size bed. There was only one desk chair for sitting which was inconvenient for having dinner for two in the room. The additional inconvenience was a community microwave and ice dispenser was located only on the first floor of the hotel. The available breakfast amenities and snacks were great choices"

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Goshen Middletown

8/10 Good

"Great location for my visit with family. Clean and lovely room design. However, noisy from traffic on Rte17. Could not control air conditioning until under the window …too cold! Needed some breakfast items for the late sleepers. Would purchase something if Food was available. Had to drive elsewhere."

Original Chestnut Log Cabin In A Lake Community

10/10 Excellent

"As mentioned, it’s an early 20th century log cabin in a beautiful lake community in northern Sussex County. Very nice deck for views and BBQ. Modern amenities. And dog friendly. Even though I didn’t meet the owner Debra, she was very helpful and engaging. If you’re looking for a rustic getaway, this is the place!"
