Mountain Weekend - Berry College
It was rustic, cute and perfect for what we needed. The location was quiet yet really close to Rome, Summerville, Armuchee and Berry College. The host made herself readily available before we arrived and after we arrived even though we didn't need anything. It was a pleasure.

This cabin needs to be brought up to building code.
There were many things that made our stay frustrating and potentially unsafe. The main thing is the electrical system needing attention. Other issues include an exterior door that doesn't lock properly; gaps in interior paneling that reveal insulation and in one case, sunlight coming through the window in the next room; a heavy homemade shower door that doesn't swing properly; improperly sized cover plates over electrical outlet boxes; a swing by the creek with a broken seat... should I go on??? There is more, but I'll let this suffice.

door which should make it easier for our guests to use. -We recently had unprecedented floods in Summerville that caused a lot of damage to the property, including the swing. We are now in the process of replacing the swing. We wish you had contacted us while you were there and we would have worked to immediately move you to another cabin so you could enjoy the remainder of your stay!

Lovely setting on a creek
This was a very clean cabin on a beautiful little creek but it is way down an embankment that is a little difficult for an elderly person like me! Younger people would love it.

Perfect little cabin
My friend and I came to the area for a bike ride and this cabin was the perfect place for us. After hiking and cycling 63 miles, wee took full advantage of the large hot tub and cold creek water. Extremely clean and super comfy beds. The outdoor space is great too. Tammy was easy to reach and quick to respond. Location is super quiet at night as well.

Nice and relaxing
Though we had some running around to do (trying to find a place to live), the stay was nice and relaxing. I spent most of my time on the porch reading and listening to the birds.

Beautiful Cabin
This is a beautiful place to visit. We were here for one week and it was great! We (including our dog) loved sitting on the porch and watching/listening to the water in the creek--so calming and relaxing. It was really nice to be able to do laundry without having to drag it to a laundromat. Wish we could have stayed another week. We did a lot of cooking/baking while here and have never seen such a large/powerful microwave. The amenities here are terrific. Our hostess, Tammy, is so sweet and thoughtful. We would definitely recommend this cabin for someone looking for a quiet and peaceful get-a-way.

Blue Hole cabin
Our stay Oct 27-29,2021. We enjoyed the cabin the comfy furniture, husband loved the recliners as he has back issues. I especially liked the mattress and bedding were heavenly soft and appeared to be new! Everything was clean and the wrap around porch inviting overlooking the creek . Would stay again if ever in that area again! Our hostess, Tammy was very easy to talk to we appreciate her hospitality! Thanks for allowing us to use your cute, charming cabin! Susan and Bob

Bluehole family vacation
Our stay was fantastic, everything we were expecting and more... Great communication with Tammy. The cabin was beautiful, drinking coffee in the morning at the balcony looking at the creek, that connection with nature is breathtaking.

The cabin was beautiful. The contact person was awesome. We loved it so much we are planning a week long stay in the near future. One bed was really firm but other than that everything thing else was perfect. Sitting on the wrap around porch listening to the creek was so peaceful. I highly recommend stay here.

Amazing
We stayed here for 3 nights. My wife and I and our 2 girls. 7 and 5 years old. We had an amazing, relaxing time. The cabin was beautiful and clean. Ms. Tammy was extremely helping. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, this is it. The creek was clean and cool. The swing at the blue swimming hole was super fun. Just a very short walk away. The cabin was rustic and cozy. Very clean. The kitchen was full of everything we needed. I will definitely be returning!

Perfect weekend getaway!

View
Great view of hill, forest and creek. The sight & sound of flowing water was beneficial to the mind. Nice swimming hole only a one minute walk from cabin. *an electric LED style fire place would make the cabin stay feel and look better.

Beautiful Cabin and Property
The cabin and property were beautiful and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there. It definitely felt like home away from home. Some of the surrounding areas felt a little sketchy though. It was also cold inside the cabin. The thermostat did not seem to be working properly. Other than that it was amazing. We loved sitting on the porch and waking up to the view and sound of the creek.

Perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle and bustle.
This was a really great spot to get away from the daily grind. The beds were extremely comfortable and all the bedding was very clean, we both thought the shower situation was a little odd and I think there is an opportunity there for the property owner to make some improvements. Specifically the shower head/water pressure and blue lighting. These are nit picky critics but I think if they were handled it would really make this an incredible place to stay. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the creek and walks out to the blue hole, we didn't get a chance to swim but enjoyed fishing and caught several fish out of of the blue hole. Overall this was an excellent place to stay and for the price it's hard to complain. We would love to return and bring our puppers next time for some fun in the hills.

Nice Getaway
Cabin was clean, location was of easy access. Nothing to complain...the only down point was that the blue hole is not really "private" as you share with other cabins and we end up with the deep end of it with for our kids was a little dangerous. But owner was great and her place was really comfortable.

Beautiful Blue Hole
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It’s in a beautiful private area with a rambling creek that you can hear on the entire property. It’s also close enough to town for all your shopping and restaurants needs. The beds are extremely comfortable, nice towels and warm throw blankets. There isn’t any cable or internet but they do have dvds and a nice tv. We loved the rustic and artistic decor. We will definitely be coming back to the blue hole on our next trip to visit family in Georgia !

Summerville Cabin
If you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded retreat, this is the place! I didn’t realize when I booked it that it didn’t have Wifi, but that was alright. The light in the shower is definitely strange...hard to see if you’ve even washed off all the soap. And I would add a light on the long porch side; it would have been nice to sit out there after dark. But overall, I was pleased and would come back.

If you are looking for a five star resort, this isn’t for you. But if you want an awesome rustic cabin then I would highly recommend this. We spent 3 of the most relaxing days at this place.

It looks exactly like the pictures-A perfect, cozy cabin in the woods!
We could not have had a better time and it was just what we were looking for! My son-in-law was on call for Christmas and this location allowed him to be much closer and not have to travel so far if he had to work. Fortunately he didn’t have to work and we were able to enjoy this lovely cabin and property to the fullest! Before arriving I reached out to the owner,Tammy, and she couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. She explained how to get in, where things were and to call if we needed anything. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely welcome note, Christmas Candycanes and a coupon to a local restaurant. While the cabin is only 950sq ft (we were expecting it to be a little cramped with 3 adults and 2 labs) it was very roomy. Every square foot was well utilized for a perfect layout! You can tell the owners take pride in and love this cabin. There is so much character in the decorating. The tin ceilings, stainless steel counter and bar stools, the beautiful porch with stick fence, fire pit and nice sitting areas. And 2 cool swings-one on the porch and one by the fire pit. The bedding was extremely comfortable-in fact I ordered the bed pillows 10 minutes ago! Plenty of warm cozy blankets. The hot water in the kitchen sink is a little slow but the pressure in the shower was fabulous!!! There was a nice rain forest shower head with great pressure and lots of hot water! There’s a black light in the shower which was a bit different but we all got used to it and laughed that our Irish Spring soap glowed in the dark😊 We we’re informed before we got there that there was no WiFi or cable but a phone tower close by. Our phones worked but coverage was better by the windows. They had dvds and games but not wanting to be totally off the grid-we brought an hdmi cord , used a hot spot and streamed live TV and that worked just fine. Having spent Christmas Day there-we were able to prepare our dinner in the nice sized work space in the kitchen. If your looking for a nice,quiet, relaxing getaway- I HIGHLY recommend you come and stay Here! I know we’ll be back again!😊

Remote, cozy cabin, as described! No wi-fi!
I rented this cabin for a quick getaway from Tuscaloosa for my husband's birthday. We were not disappointed! It was just as pictured on the listing. A decently well stocked kitchen and plenty of toilet paper. We had fun using our kayak in the deep part of the blue hole (not huge space to paddle as it is surrounded by river rocks and much more shallow water), but still fun. We got lost getting to Sloppy Floyd State Park-don't trust your GPS and the address listed on google- and once we got there, it was underwhelming. I would recommend skipping it and just hanging out in the cabin and down by the water. We have Verizon and got decent cell signal, though our friends with Tmobile and Sprint were out of luck. The only glitch was a strong sewer smell coming from the only bathroom in the cabin. It was pretty putrid and we had to keep the door shut so it wouldn't stink up the rest of the cabin. I let Tammy know upon departure and she seemed to know what was going on and I'm sure they were going to correct it. I would recommend it, overall!

Great cabin in a peaceful getaway area
The cabin was very comfortable, everything was in working order and clean. The surroundings are great, a relaxing creek out the back door that goes to the blue hole. Chairs, swings & a fire pit area right next to the creek that really allow you to enjoy the nature there. Your also not far from a state park with some very fun hiking trails, fishing etc. The cabin owner was extremely nice and thoughtful as well, giving us some ideas and suggestions of activities to do while we were there. This helped to get the most out of our stay. Thank you! If you want a cozy and inviting trip away from reality I recommend this place 0. You will not be disappointed.

Quiet, scenic, creatively designed and decorated
This cabin, situated above a creek and across the lane from a deep blue swimming hole, displays a fun, creative design with tin ceilings, purple-lit tile shower, goose head bathroom sink fixtures and unique touches throughout. We loved the tile floors, wood walls, and comfy living room sofa and chair. I especially enjoyed breakfasts on the deck overlooking the creek and woods. I recommend this cabin to any small party seeking a getaway to explore northwest Georgia.

The place was great! The creek was very nice and the swimming hole was fun. We really enjoyed our stay. Only down side is how close the cabin yard is to the road. Not ideal for the fur kids.
