"Location is great. I would stay here again. The place is steps from all the West Reading hot spots. The property is a little dated. The front desk person was very kind and efficient. We were here to enjoy West Reading and attend a wedding. Nice kitchen and pretty good sized full fridge if you next a reasonable place to stay for an extended stay. "

"Check in and out were very fast. The room was huge - 2 separate rooms, 1 with couch, refrig, microwave and TV, and the other with desk and bed. Has 2 AC/heaters which was nice. The water in the shower was warm, but not hot, and the closet door was in the process of being repaired (a hole had been repaired but not painted - no big deal). Breakfast looked like standard fare (I did not eat any of it). Room was very clean. I would stay again if the water were hot, not just warm. "

"Absolute dump. Don't be misled by the photos. I was hesitant at first to book a room because of the low price plus not being a national chain. But the photos on Expedia made the place appear OK so I booked 2 nights through Expedia. (I should note that I also had to pre-pay for both nights). Frankly, for the price I didn't expect much but this hotel didn't even live up to those low expectations. Immediately upon arrival I had my doubts but it was late and I had already pre-paid for two nights through Expedia. The first room they offered me had the television torn off the wall and laying face down on the dresser. Underneath it was a half eaten muffin. I told the young man at the front desk about the condition of the room and he graciously gave me another (upgraded) room. The second room wasn't much better, though. However, it was so late in the evening that I reluctantly stayed that 1st night. The next morning I checked out (a day earlier than what I originally booked and pre-paid for). However, the clerk at the desk said he could not refund me for the 2nd night because the booking was through Expedia. He said that I would have to get the refund through Expedia. I contacted Expedia who in turn contacted the hotel. Expedia then emailed me saying the hotel refused to issue a refund. (Bear in mind I only wanted a refund for the second night that I didn't not stay). Because the hotel refused to refund the night I didn't stay, I ended up paying for two nights in a filthy room."

"Bed was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever laid on! Springs popping up! No rest, very painful! There is a bar connected to the hotel. LOUD live band playing right next to the check in desk. Staff checking us in spoke very softly, with a live band playing and singing. Had to ask her about 10 times to speak up because we couldn’t hear her. The obnoxious drunks outside our room at 3am were a treat too! NEVER AGAIN!!!! "
