What a fantastic cottage. The house is very well maintained and the daily upkeep from the owners was unobtrusive and efficient. We would stay here again, given the opportunity.

A true boutique hotel - interesting art, lots of personal touches. A real sense of pride in ownership.

While everything about the hotel experience was great, nothing stood out more than the owners Grant and Trudy Smith. Grant is one of those people who makes you feel like you've been friends for years even though you only met a few minutes ago. Trudy was just as personable. Whether it be getting restaurant recommendations or borrowing bikes to ride on the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway, they were always ready to be helpful.

Very nice hotel with beautiful decorations, convenient location, and friendly staffs. The experience was excellent; the stay made me feel I was owning the place. Nice feeling of being back home.

The Gentleman at the counter was genuinely very kind and welcoming and offers were very helpful. The ammenities in the room were excellent too. There were many different types of cooking machines and genuine ceramic quality plates and silverware and more

Room was great, Parking was very convenient, modern hotel with all the amenities.

Everything was absolutely perfect until the very end. Very spacious rooms. Well-equiped kitchen. Bathroom well-stocked. Plenty of linens. Every bed was equipped with its own heater, which, while we didn't need to use, was nice. I would have given five stars on everything if not for the final moments of our checkout. We had spent all morning packing, loading the car, and cleaning the kitchen. Both the room door and car door were wide open the whole time. But before we could leave, we had to use...

Clean room and nice breakfast! Easy access to eveything in town. Beach walk across the road.

The room and breakfast were great. The grounds were fun to explore. Getting a tip as to where to find the glowworms was awesome.
