Very peaceful place, the room was a decent size and bathroom large. Nice quiet area. Room clean but unfortunately my TV signal did not connect and the hairdryer was unsafe other than that happy with my stay

Comfortable hotel, perfect for soaking up the spirit of Islay. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It's the ideal place to experience the unique atmosphere and character of Islay. The restaurant was a true highlight. The chef is a master—the food was exceptional and a huge step above typical British fare. We especially recommend the smoked kipper for breakfast; it was absolutely delicious. Live music by a band at the bar on every Wednesday and Sunday.

The property is so well equipped for self catering and it is situated in the middle of the island, very convenient for visiting the whisky distilleries.
