Beautiful hotel and grounds

Beautiful place for a romantic getaway. Cesar from the concierge was extremely helpful and obliging with any requests that we had. The grounds were amazing and the dinner at the Barton restaurant overlooking the gardens was the highlight of our stay.

Birthday surprise

The stay was a surprise present for my sister’s birthday. Everything was superb. The staff were wonderful, so welcoming and helpful. The hotel and grounds are beautiful.

Home away from home

We had a fabulous 2 night b&b stay in a standard room. Room was well equipped, bath and shower, make up mirror, fridge and a nespresso machine together with complimentary bottled water. Being able to sit in the library or drawing room for a drink in front of an open fire was lovely. The staff treat you like friends and it's a real homely feel which is very comfortable and relaxing. We used the pool and gym facilities which are good but a bit out of the way in a different building to the main hotel.

On the last night the service in the south bar was poor having to wait 1.5 hours for our main course Until we asked the staff didn’t advise that there was a delay This did not match the quality of service that the K Club offers

I expected more. Very poor room service experience. Rude treatment when ordering and food was cold and stale. Pictures of pool/spa on website was no available unless you booked a separate villa. Tiny tv in the room. Hard pillows. Service overall was good, breakfast and room was pretty good. Surroundings were nice

The K Club offered a warm and efficient welcome and departure. Service here was wonderful. The hotel itself feels old and very dated. The food was underwhelming. Breakfast felt very rushed. No sooner had we sat down when the hot food arrived. Room size was great but decor faded. Robes a bit shabby. Pedal bin was broken. Water in fridge was already open and half empty. It was our 20th anniversary but we had a note saying “happy 35th anniversary” By 3pm we had to request a clean for the room. Overall disappointing.
