The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway, known as the Middy, less than a mile away, has a museum with occasional steam trains with carriages and wagons to recreate a slice of Edwardian England, during weekends.
The village of Debenham is just 5 miles away with local amenities. There are many local country pubs which offer pub lunches. Centrally situated within Suffolk, there are many picturesque towns and villages within easy driving distance to explore. Explore the market towns of Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Diss and Eye all offering shops, supermarkets, eateries and hosts to daily markets; a great place to enjoy and buy fresh local produce, all within 30 minutes’ drive.
