"The suite I stayed in was spacious and very clean… the view was amazing! The complimentary cookies, water and coffee/tea in the room was a nice touch. There was a very nice continental breakfast offered with yummy options. The staff was welcoming, friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay here again!!"

"I cannot say enough good things about AWOL Stowe! I was visiting Stowe (and Vermont) for the first time for a short birthday trip. I stayed in the "1 King Bed Cabin" and it was SO dreamy - a little individual hotel room that was so cozy. It was nice to not share walls with neighbors, while also still feeling safe as there is plenty of people around. The staff also left a wonderful little carepackage in my room with birthday wishes. And the lobby of the hotel was exceptionally cozy and aesthetic. Check-in and out was also very easy. The *only* downside I would say to my stay is that the resort is pet friendly, so there were quite a few pet hairs on my sheets, but it was nothing a lint brush didn't fix (and I am confident the staff would have many the change in sheets had I requested it). Still, 5 out of 5 stars, and I would certainly return to AWOL Stowe and recommend it to friends in the future! "

"Adorable accommodations. Clean and comfortable room. I do wish we could bring our own food/beverages to the main room in the lodge. Since it was the room with the fireplace, games, etc., it was really the only common space. I realize they sold food and beverages. Sometimes you don't want to spend $$$ just to play Pictionary in front of the fire. Other than that, it was a perfect stay and I would absolutely book again. "

"The townhouse was lovely. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The owners are very generous with what they provide in the house eg: dishwashing pods, laundry detergent, coffee pods, salt, pepper, etc. I have been in VRBOs where there is minimal to nothing provided. I hope people renting the house don't take advantage of the owners kindness making them feel like they can't continue to do it. The townhouse was clean and comfortable and I really appreciated that the code for the door was my phone number. How easy was that!"
