"The room was clean and had all the necessities. The kitchen had silverware, plates, pots, pans, and an espresso machine. The bathroom was clean, and the tub was spacious. The bed was comfortable. "Our family enjoyed staying on this mountainside cabin overlooking Lake Lucerne. Beautiful boat trip from downtown Lucerne to experience city life and nice to come back and wind down in quiet mountainside just below the summit of Mount Rigi. Host was very hospitable with lots of tips and recommendations for the local area."

"Hotel de la Paix was an excellent hotel for us - in east walking distance to all amenities and to the train station. The staff at the front desk were amazing. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The beds were very comfortable. The guest rooms are basic, clean, and had every thing we needed. The breakfast buffet was very good - again with great service. "
