Great motel with updated rooms

This place was perfect gor us to stage outings from Coopers Landing to Homer. The motel was clean with wooden floors that reminded me of my childhood cabin. The staff was very helpful. If your fishing the Kenai peninsula, this is a great place to base your outings.

It doesn't look like much, but the rooms were clean, and refurbished. The beds were pretty hard, but I don't mind a firm bed. The staff was very friendly and even gave us some garbage bags to cover a piece of luggage we had on top of a vehicle to protect it from the rain. They a nice refrigerator to put your fish in too. Would stay here again.

The Hibernation Station is conveniently located only a few minutes from Soldotna. The property is well cared for, my room was impeccably clean, and the staff are attentive and very nice. My room was huge compared to most hotel rooms and the bed was comfortable. There is a coffee machine located near the front desk along with a small shelf stocked with toiletries and extra towels, if needed during your stay. I stayed for one week for work and slept well each night. I have zero complaints and would definitely recommend!

This is a refurbished older hotel. It's a good place to stay for fishermen. They have freezer space for rent for one's catch. The room was comfortable. The refrigerator had a shelf for a freezer, like many hotels, and it was able to freeze our blue ice. There was coffee (but no decaf) tea, and grab and go items for breakfast; nothing special, but we still were glad to have it.

Place looks great and was super clean. My only complaint is the thermostat had a lock box on it and it was way too hot for me to sleep as I like a cool bedroom at night. Even with the window open it was too warm Also towels were very thin and small. Owners really nice. Price was very cheap. They could be charging a much higher price especially compared to others in the area

Heather was very helpful in rebooking. Staff is helpful. Rooms can be warm with direct sun, but with windows open it cooled off nicely. Property is tidy and the rear rooms are both cooler and quieter. There are fuel stations nearby with fuel, ice, and snacks. Soldotna is not to far away for more restaurant options. We booked short notice for a fishing trip in Sterling and it is convenient for that if you are meeting your guide at Bings Landing.

Just what I needed

A perfectly fine place to stay at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly. Not a resort destination, but a welcome sight after dipnetting on the Kenai. I'd certainly stay there again!
