Our studio villa was just the right size for the two of us, and we found all the amenities we needed in the place. Breakfast items were just what we needed. They even demonstrated how to get the fire place started. The host couple was very willingly provided useful information about the area. Very cosy place. All in all, this is a wonderful place to stay and relax.

Very close to everything yet peaceful with a great little sunset hike on the property. The hosts were very welcoming, personable and helpful with a great knowledge of the region and its attractions. Highly recommend staying here.

Love how this accomodation embraces the local landscape. So beautiful and serene in amongst the rocks that give this awesome region its name. We would love to come back in the warmer months. We enjoyed the cold and had a cosy fire with plenty of wood. Room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Scott and Deb, the owners are friendly, delightful and helpful.

The overall cleanliness and tidiness off the property was spectacular. The unique walking tracks also built into the area take you up to an incredible lookout which is a must on a sunny clear day. Staff were friendly and couldn’t of had a more welcoming experience.

Great place to stay in Stanthorpe! Beautiful house with everything you may need for relaxing weekend. Nice gardens and even a walking track - great spot to watch sunset.

The Accommodation was neat, modern, looked new and very well maintained. You parked your car at the Accommodation you are staying at. Phone signal is ok. No Wifi in the cabins, which we wish we had. TV channels all worked well. A great location for each cabin, private and quiet. The accommodation cabins are excellent in size (we had a studio and is was huge). Reverse cycle aircon, if needed, also a wooden fire place for the cold nights. No wood at the cabin, but I didn't ask for any as it wasn't cold enough to light a fire. The layout of the land is great for each cabin. All located on a wooded hill side. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Thank you Jon, so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We do have a Wifi Lounge that can be accessed 24/7 where guests are welcome to use the guest network. Our winter season is when we supply the wood for the wood burning stoves. That runs from 1st April to 30th September each year because as you said, it's not cold enough for a fire through summer.

We were very happy with the accomodation. The only downfall was that it was very hard to find a winery for dinner. Seems most close early afternoon. All was well. We had a fabulous dinner we cooked for ourselves in the cabin.

A few observations
I think we may have been spoilt as 2 ears ago we also stayed in this type of accomodation in the Barossa and this became our gold standard. The rooms were fine but I would make the following suggestions 1 Please consider adding Nespresso pod machines in each unit. 2 Make wifi available in all units and not just the lounge 3 I understand it was a continental breakfast but this should have Included peaches or apricots to add to the cereal 4 In our Accom in Barossa we were delivered a fresh baked loaf Each morning and it was delivered warm 5 Finally given Stanthorpe is the home of apples I thought there Would have been a small basket in our room with a few of The local,apple varieties Many thanks for the opportunity to comment

We stayed at The Rocks for five days, just relaxing and exploring the Stanthorpe area. Our hosts, Debbie and Scott .we very welcoming and helpful and gave great advice on things to do and see. The cottage was exceptionally clean, well set up and comfortable. The setting is spectacular: isolated from traffic noise but close to town. We loved our stay and would recommend The Rocks very highly.

A wonderful place to stay
Absolutely loved it here. The owners Debbie and Scott were lovely. The cabins were clean, thoughtfully set out with everything we needed, the shower was spacious, fireplace was so cosy with it all set up ready to go and the grounds there on the property are a wonderful surprise in themselves. Kangaroos grazing on the lawn and local birdlife coming for a visit. Would certainly go back!

We do like a place out of town,tick. There were lots of wallaby sightings as well as a short,close walk which was brilliant.

We loved the property and information we received from Scott & Debbie great hosts but not obtrusive We saw a few kangaroos and kookaburras But the cabin was immaculately presented had revers cycle ac and a gorgeous fireplace with a bbq on the front deck We did a walk up to the top of the property and saw the sunset having a glass of wine from the local wineries on a seat that was there for the guests to enjoy A fantastic place and highly recommend we will be back soon ..

The whole experience was great, the owners were happy, helpful & ready to offer advice as to where to eat & visit. The cabin very well set up with all you could need, cheese board & dip bowls & platters, perfect for a DVD night at home sipping wine after visiting some of the local wineries. Warm and cosy with a fireplace ready to go when we arrived.

Very impressed with both the unit and the setting.
Being a little bit cold at Stanthorpe the wood fire was awesome and kept the unit cosy warm for us. The advice provided by our hosts on what to do in Stanthorpe was very useful. I loved the bushwalk up to the top of the property. Thanks for a great weekend.

Welcoming cozy cabins among the trees and granite
Lovely, friendly and welcoming hosts. Very clean cabins with touches of luxury. Comfortable beds, hot showers, warm fire and verandas looking out to the west for sunset views. Will definitely be back.

Our hosts were incredibly helpful even before we arrived answering queries and assisting with recommendations for dinner and attractions. Scott showed us various tourist spots to visit and helped with walking directions to town. The property was clean and well organised. We enjoyed our time at 31 The Rocks and would return.

A great place to stay in Stanthorpe
We would rate this property in the exceptional category. We stayed in cabin 4 which is located towards the back of the property with bushland behind. The hosts were very friendly and helpful in suggesting things to do around the area. The cabin is well appointed and spotlessly clean. We ordered the optional antipasto platter and gourmet breakfast and both were outstanding. We have been to Stanthorpe quite a few times and this is without a doubt the best we have stayed in.

Beautiful spot. Relaxing, quiet, room was great. They have a walking track and it was very good, a must do. They thought of everything even a torch,candles,and sewing kit . Very impressed

Calm and relaxing atmosphere
Loved it, really idyllic and serene surrounded by the granite rocks and forest. Local walk just at the back of the resort had good views of Stanthorpe. Bella the local beagle was an absolute delight. Had good recommendations from the owners for wine tasting, and Steve offered his carport when we had a storm incoming as well. Lovely stay, lovely people.

You must stay at 31 The Rocks
This Luxury cabin style accommodation is the best. They have a very functional fire place with all supplies to get a great fire up and going. Everything is of good quality and you will want for nothing. The host are always available with all the tourist information you will need. The area is set in bushland and has well cleared walking tracks to explore the area where it is set. Great views from the large granite rocks and keep an eye open for the Kangaroos and Wallabies . These areas are all clean and safe, thanks to the hard work of Scott and Debbie, the host that do the most. Your breakfast is available and also has a BBQ on your patio for those who want to outdoor cook. The kitchen inside is great with all new appliances and a TV with most stations than I expected for a country town. The town of Stanthorpe is a short drive away with everything on hand, good Pub meals, RSL , shopping centre and everything you would need. The area is quite and at night it is so peaceful on your own patio just taking in the serenity. There is so much to do and explore from your cabin you should stay another week to see it all. Heaps of wineries if you like your wine and other historic locations to see. This 31 The Rocks would also be a great place to stay in summer or spring. It has heaps of shady trees all around the cabins and at that time of year all the apple trees will be loaded with apples. Overnight or a couple of weeks, this is the only place to stay at Stanthorpe. Its Great.

Amazing couples getaway
We had the most amazing weekend getaway at 31 the rocks. The owners were so hospitable and helpful assisting us book taxis and restaurants as wel as suggest places to visit. Our villa was outstanding so modern and the decor was perfect. They have really thought of everything - from makeup specific towels to fresh bread and setting the fire up for us. The property itself is beautiful and we woke up to see wallabies from our verandah. Could not fault and will definitely be back!

Excellent hillside location.
The stay we had at 31 the Rocks was just awesome, the location of the villa in amongst the bush, the walking tracks to the top of the hill were great especially at sunset, the room had everything you needed for a great stay and the owners are really friendly and go out of their way to give out helpful Knowledge of the local area and what to do in Stanthorpe.
